That's a great pic! I find getting a sense of the steepness of something really tricky. You've absolutely nailed the scale of this!

I'm going to assume this is the Pacific Coast, but it looks like a spot on the Bruce Peninsula on Lake Huron.

I think it's the steps that give the eye a point of reference as to the steepness. Without them it's harder to show...
