This gem has all the earmarks of a fun punk rock night out. Beating the shit out of somebody, getting drunk, wrecking some property. What’s not to love?? Surely the Rezillo’s were talking about their own personal experiences, right on the football terraces, or just wrecking a club.
Blaring guitars… staccato drums - this is punk rock!! (I also first heard this on the first Murphy’s Law album)

Except it wasn’t originally written by them. But by classic rockers Fleetwood Mac way back in 1969…

Yes Buddy Holly was great! And I think it's cool that the punk groups of the 70's and 80's played his songs. In Blondies case I think it's even better than the original.
