❌Monthly Song Challenge: Archived🎵

My friend and I were just talking about this movie yesterday while talking about ska and punk bands. He's been trying to get me to watch it forever and I forget to look for it.
Yeah definitely worth a look. It's got the 80s era thing going along with a great soundtrack, and of course Harry Dean Stanton. And it's also insanely funny. One of my all-time favorites.

I never saw Repo Man, it just looked completely uninteresting to me back in the day. But… I didn’t know it had Harry Dean Stanton.. that guy was just so amazingly talented…. 🥰🥰🥰

Here are two songs that take me back to my childhood but fit the bill from yesterday since I didn't make it on here.

Day 8: A song that reminds you of childhood
Twisted Sister: We're Not Gonna Take It (it was my first album/I mean vinyl)

Day 9: A song that’s on a movie soundtrack
Kenny Loggins: Danger Zone

Day 5: An instrumental song
The Violet Hour - The Civil Wars

Day 7: A song you found in a commercial
The Fratellis - Flathead
(For Apple - iPod or iTunes)

Day 8: A song that reminds you of childhood
Pat Benatar - Hit Me With Your Best Shot

Dentist - Little Shop Of Horrors
This soundtrack was my everything when I was about 7! Still love it now just as much
Dark humor *and* musicals? I didn't think I could love you any more. 🥰

Day 9: A song that’s on a movie soundtrack
The White Stripes - We're Going to Be Friends
(Napoleon Dynamite)

Senior year of high school my parents moved to Florida and I basically couch surfed staying in vacant homes of snowbirds.

To entertain myself I watched the only vhs tape I owned. Everyday.

*Edited when I realized I typed dvd when dvds hadn’t been invented yet. It was definitely a vhs tape. Be kind, rewind.*
