NGL, it's rough, and I frequently want to hurt people who know I can't have coffee and brew it in my presence, but I've had enough days when my anemia prevented me from functioning and don't want any more like that. I do cheat about twice a year for holiday-flavored lattes when I have absolutely nothing strenuous planned. At my anemia's worst, I had at least 4 different doctors read the results of my blood tests and give me the "how the fuck are you still alive and walking?!?" look. It wasn't encouraging.
At least you have an excuse to not drink it most of the time. I've just been told I'm not an adult because I can't stand coffee.
