South Carolina seceded from the Union firing on Fort Sumter because they were being taxed at rates considered high as there was not near as much wealth after the industrialization that had occurred in the north. Slavery was a secondary topic AFTER the war started. There were slaves all over the country. Including democrats and republicans. The war ended and slavery still existed. Emancipation was a condition, a requirement before a state could be allowed back into the Union. The states had to ratify the decision. The war was over. Appomattox is where that happened.

Biden created massive inflation and now is saying he brought it down. The cost of goods has not decreased since he ran everything up. Somewhere in this thread someone said Trump increased the deficit. Biden spent 8 trillion on "covid" and "Infrastucture" with two bills. Obama 8 Trillion bailing out banks. The only new money Trump "spent" was to restore the military to respect.
