I 100% respect your reasons for posting pics in the way you choose to do so. But this is why I don't think more people posting their own pics instead of commenting/complaining that they have missed a pic would have any effect on how long other people leave their pics up.My miserly attitude toward posting any pics has more to do with my own privacy & mood than anything else. There is a coalescence of several factors that have to occur before I'll post a pic of myself. Usually the formula looks like this: I like the pic + my sleep gummy is still making me woozy + I'm grumpy at my SO= I'll post a pic for a few minutes
That said, the "I missed it" posts don't add anything to the thread and they start to feel a bit whiny and attention seeking. Most of us miss certain peoples' pics. It's a fact of timezones and work schedules and whatever else. I have been known to express my disappointment about it from time to time, but when it happens *every time* a person misses a pic, it's annoying.
