I have been critical of a few of the choices by the writers. This one, while general as almost every song tells a story, will have deep meaning for most. The day us off to a fantastic start.

Just an aside: my dad used to play this when I was very little. We would go camping in the mountains as our vacation, just me, my dad and my three brothers, for two weeks every summer. We would drive his great big green and white ford pickup back in the mountains and hike into the middle of nowhere. I alternately loved and hated those trips. This was always a song that he played on the way. So when I hear it, I can hear my dad singing it.

Yeah I knew what song I wanted straight away too which makes a change. I usually spend an hour or two pondering the right one.
I love Nick. He can go from ultra violence to the most tender and beautiful music and it's all so thoughtful and clever

It almost feels autobiographical
2) a song I'd cry to in the shower:
Foo Fighters - These Days
First time after this came on in the shower after Taylor's death I just cried inconsolably until several minutes after it was over
3) a song for hanging out with friends:
Don't You (Forget About Me) - Simple Minds
A couple things I'm good at are derailing sleep schedules and bringing odd assortments of wonderful weirdos together. One such group of night owls came to call ourselves The Breakfast Club
4) a song that gives you inspiration:
Don't Let Me Get Me - Pink
For those days I need to remind myself it's okay to be a fucking trainwreck
5) a song that isn't in your usual genre
The Nautilis Knoweth - Final Fantasy XIV soundtrack
Nighttime theme for 1 of the Endwalker zones. So relaxing
