Except two days in a row Marine Corps' birthday and Veteran's day needed attention as well as the challenge of the day, there does need to be a holiday exception, or to account for the holiday in the calendar (I will grant you only one post for the day and one for the holiday).

Meh, no . There’s too many holidays out there. Marine corps birthday isn’t even a holiday! There are several other threads about just sharing whatever music you are listening to. I’d recommend sharing holiday music there.

You’ve got to admit, there are some songs that are worthy of mentioning that may not have been the first choice to present.

Totally!! It’s so hard to pick. Even I posted two songs on the sad day. But I’m going to try to keep doing a challenge like this every month so there will be plenty more opportunities to share! Plus I really like trying to actually listen to as many people’s shares as I can.
