I'll have to look into those.I was surprised to find out I actually prefer really sharp steak knives without teeth. My set are J A Henckels and solid pieces of stainless steel (no wood or plastic handles) with teeth, and my roommate’s set is also J A Henckels without teeth, and his are infinitely better!
I can get the Bucks for $300 with their law enforcement discount program, but think they'll still be a hard battle. Cold Steel has a set I can get for $120 she seems more amenable to. I love their hunting/survival knives, and their kitchen cutlery looks solid.
