Check out the video on CNN...where Palestinians were evacuating using the path they were instructed...and the IDF attacked them. How do we know it was IDF? The scatter of the debris. Explosive devices detonated at ground level have a different crater than either missiles from the air or artillery. But cool...they were only Palestinians. And that's an acceptable loss. Zero Hamas fighters killed...twenty or so including at least 6 children killed.

I don't think most people believe that. I don't think the Israeli leadership believes that.

But you don't win a war through surgical strikes at the bad people at the top. The only way to beat the Nazis in WW2 was to bomb and kill a lot of Germans. That's war. The Gaza people elected Hamas way back when, and then Hamas kicked out the opposition. You pay the price for the evil people you've picked to lead you. There's no way to take out Hamas without hurting civilians, especially because they launch their rockets from densely populated civilian areas. This is what war is. Israel did not start this war, but it has a right to win it to survive.

The whole thing makes me sick to my stomach, but after what happened on October 7, Israel has no choice but to go after Hamas mercilessly.

A more salient analogy might be the USA's use of nuclear bombs as a response to the Japanese invasion of Pearl Harbor. Higher civilian casualty rates at the Japanese target areas but it minimized the loss of life of American soldiers and was therefore deemed an acceptable rate of "collateral damage".

Sadly, your talk here is totally about the arms. However, the Hamas terrorists beheaded babies, raped women and possibly men. They murdered everyone that they could, took women, children, babies, men and the elderly hostage. More than that they murdered cows, and burned down their cow sheds. Why? What did the cows do to them? That was not part of the discussion here.

The reason they did this according to one 'honourable' terrorist is that all civilians are counted as military by Hamas. Therefore my kids, my grandchildren, husband and I are military to them. In other words they want us all to disappear and take 'their' occupied land back. If one looks at history you will find that we the Jews have lived in the Land of Israel for many, many centuries, dispersed during some of those times to the diaspora it's true, but we have a right to live here. More than that we want to live with our Muslim brothers and sisters in peace and prosperity.

Totally untrue! Israel informed the Hamas people to move out of the area. Sadly, they were not informed of the destruction and utter animal-like actions of Hamas terrorists last Saturday inside Israel! Why do that if they intend to kill and attack them? They could just leave them where they are and attack them there! I don't want to argue with you, and I don't know who you are. However, this is so untrue. Israel has the most compassionate army in the world. Our soldiers do not rape women or behead babies!!
