I got no problems with it. Lock him up for life. Throw away the key if that's the verdict. The gun charges are felonies. Anyone who believes more gun control laws are needed ought to agree that existing laws must be enforced.

Sorry but citing an opinion from NYT doesn’t let Hunter off the hook. I said he’ll probably plead guilty to the felony charges, get probation, and carry that conviction on his record for the rest of his life. If you think that law is too harsh, call your Congressional representative.^
(Quoted for posterity and stupidity)
BabyBoobs obviously doesn’t understand how the “existing laws” ARE enforced in circumstances similar to Hunter Biden’s.
Here, let me help:
From the NYT:
“In reality, few people fitting Mr. Biden’s profile — a first-time, nonviolent offender accused of lying on a federal firearms application, who never used the gun (in his case, a Colt Cobra .38 that he held onto for less than two weeks five years ago) to commit a crime — get serious prison time for the offenses charged in the indictment.
Just bringing the charges is out of the ordinary in some ways, former law enforcement officials say, and the legal basis of the prosecution is under constitutional challenge.”
Hope that ^ helps.

Laz loves the word intent! Mar-A—Lago Trump had intent to keep documents. Welp, Hard to lie on a 4473 without intent. Hunter during years 2014 and 2015 failed to pay 1:5 million in taxes. IF it wasn’t for an IRS investigation, two IRS whistleblowers coming forward putting pressure on Weiss to investigate tax evasion Biden would never have paid the tax, I guess you can evade paying taxes unintentionally. His taxes were paid by a friend to save his ass. The ole rules for thee but not for me. Weiss didn’t intend to let tax evasion charges outrun statutes of limitations, NO SIR REEEE!Sorry but citing an opinion from NYT doesn’t let Hunter off the hook. Yeah, that’s who he is. I don’t mind setting him straight from time to time and just ignore his childish name calling.Laz loves the word intent! Mar-A—Lago Trump had intent to keep documents. Romney is retiring but the art of lip flopping is alive and well.Unusually harsh treatment? Too funny. These gun charges saves that POS from serving a single day in prison. Weiss with his “oh look at us indicting Hunter“ is as phony as Hunter paying back taxes. Weiss saved Biden’s ass much the same as Comey saved Hillary’s ass from doing time.
•Romney is retiring but the art of lip flopping is alive and well.
Weiss saved Biden like Comey saved Hillary????
Weren't you guys crying Weiss DIDN'T do his job enough?

Throw the book at Hunter. I don't get why you two dipshits think it means anything about Biden.Welp, Hard to lie on a 4473 without intent. I agree they should face some kind of criminal proceedings. They have conspired to act against the people of the United States. In several meaningful ways, they have brought great harm to the country, the economy, and our people. They have harmed the national security of the country and for all practical purposes have declared war on half the country who believe in our constitutional system.
I have to wonder why you care so deeply about Hunter Biden.I don't think so. I think we'll see another plea deal that results in probation but no jail time. What say you?
Trump did have intent, he admitted many times he had the records and didn't agree he had to give them back. Then after learning he did, he still kept a bunch. Fuck you're an idiot to compare Trump to anyone.
Throw the book at Hunter. I don't get why you two dipshits think it means anything about Biden.
neither one seems happy with their lives.Yep.
Throw THE SAME BOOK at him that they TYPICALLY throw at those who commit THE SAME CRIME.
The RWCJ "members" have multiple conundrums they’re struggling with:
• They oppose the gun law that Hunter Biden is charged with violating, but they want him crucified for violating that law.
• They cry about a "two tier" justice system, but they want Hunter Biden treated more harshly than a random person who committed the same crime.
• They claim they are the party of law and order, but they want to give the biggest criminal (tRump) in the country a free pass. (They also want to give the entire insurrection cabal a free pass).
• They claim they are the party of accepting the legal decisions of the justice system, but they want to convict or impeach their enemies without sufficient evidence of criminal intent or wrongdoing, even / especially when the justice system says there ISN’T sufficient evidence of criminal intent or wrongdoing. And when that same justice system says there IS sufficient evidence of criminal wrongdoing to indict "one of their own", the holler like hit dogs. (And they cry in court…a lot).
It must suck to be "them".
*nods*
Carry on with your playground name calling antics and keep complaining about gun law enforcement. Hunter sends his^
(Quoted for posterity and stupidity)
BabyBoobs gets schooled on how guns laws like Hunter Biden violated ARE TYPICALLY prosecuted, and then attempts to deflect and distract from that main point.
The UNUSUALLY HARSH treatment of Hunter Biden over the gun charges DESTROYS the RWCJ’s entire bullshit gaslighting narrative about a "two tier" justice system that is sooooo unfair to those "tough" right wingers who cry like babies in court.

Actually, hardly anyone ever goes to prison for the crimes he's accused of. Most don't even go to trial.Nope.
Problems like that are for "the little people."
