Why do you hate the word "girlfriend"?

I hate the word "husband". Too close to husbandry. There are no farm animals in this marriage. I tried out "baby daddy" once but it didnt go over so well.

I’m not a fan of girlfriend or boyfriend either … or husband nor wife. Just.. person. Like @OrdinaryPerson you’re my person.

Worst compliment I ever got was sort of a joke. My friend was talking with a friend of his in Newport Beach, CA, and trying to get her to set one of her girlfriends up with me. "He's really a great guy. Such a wonderful sense of humor. He's pretty smart, too. Um, he's polite, nice to animals and old ladies..." This shit went on for nearly five straight minutes.

I saw a guy comment on a woman's breasts picture today in an AmPics thread with the response of "Nice Gams"

Women-does that in any way make your chests feel more special than they did before reading it?

Men-What level of loser are we to come up with such ridiculous phrases?

The "boobies" thread makes me alternately laugh and wince. Just from the title.

Weird thing with me, I don't usually like commenting in the AmPic threads. Not sure why, not like there's anything wrong with it, and I'm sure I've actually done it before, I guess I just feel weird being part of an anonymous chorus of approval maybe?
