There is no space limitation, older PMs automatically move down the list, even older PMs stop showing up unless you click "all conversations", and I can search PMs by user so I dont see the need. I like having all the messages there to remind me of who I talked to before or even how some friendships started if I feel like reminiscing.

I can see how women with an ampics thread might have to leave a lot of convos though. Or maybe guys that message a ton of people? The only time Ive gotten a lot of random messages is when I posted out of the PG and those messages, I half deleted and half kept to remind me who I dont want to talk to.
