Sex & Shenanigans

A lot of us can probably relate to this. I found out I couldnt even run really hard without peeing first. Thankfully I was just running by the house. Boy was I surprised. 🤣

I talked about it with my OB who very unhelpfully said to wait until Im done having kids and then if its really bad, do surgery. But basically told me to do some kegals and cross my legs when I sneeze. I ended up going to a pelvic therapist (who of course didnt take insurance cause its so rare and in demand here) and it helped a lot.

So I heard pelvic health is much more of a thing in Europe... that pelvic therapy is a routine thing after child birth, is this true?
I only really remember having to do kegels before and after tbh but I was in an exhausted fog for a while so the details are fuzzy. I'm sure there probably are therapies that could help but I do know a lot of women who need tena pads etc because the slightest thing makes them pee

Yes, I tease about it but I feel very lucky they this isn’t actually my reality. Three kids, more body mass and old age (😂😂) have many issues but this isn’t one of mine. I think I lucked out.
Edited to add-not entitled as a flex I really don’t understand why some woman have issues and others don’t. Anyone an OBGyn that can explain it?

I can't speak for all the men, but there's definitely a risk of nut-crushing if I squeeze my thighs together. That's not comfortable, and worse is that delayed "Oh my fuckinggod!" pain that you KNOW will be hitting a few seconds later.
I’ve never ball crushed during a leg crossing. You are definitely doing something wrong…..LOL.
