Sex & Shenanigans

One of my favorite cities on the planet. The people are great minus the pick pockets. If you can't have fun in Chicago, you can't have fun.
I will say, half joking about the violence and crime aside, there is ALOT to do in Chicago.

Atlanta grew on me. It took a while to learn the city but once I learned where to go, I liked it much better.
I hope not to travel through that airport enough to feel that way.
Dulles has its moments. Once you get to where the gates are, it’s fine. It’s just navigating.

Agree on the airport. I have no love for that place.

It’s been a long time since I was last there. Been focusing on the eastern seaboard lately. Or the left coast.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Dulles when my international connecting flights are delayed. The United Club is not the worst place to wait out storms…or take a nap 😂

What’s everyone’s most favorite place to visit. We know @Mr_bogey does Chicago. ;)
What about everyone else? Do you have a very favorite place to visit in your travels?

New Orleans is always awesome. Nashville was cool for about an hour before the onslaught of cover bands ruined it. Hill Country in Texas is amazing, especially during peach season. Luchanbach, TX is something special. Turning 21 in San Francisco was pretty amazing. I want to spend more time in Memphis. Also want to do a European cruise someday.

Can't believe I forgot to mention Boston. Lol. I lived there for about 5 years in my early 20s. It filled me with a love of culture and people. Portland, ME is a very cool town. My niece lives there and goes to college so I always have an excuse to go there. 😎

The White Mountains of NH are really amazing. Probably the best place to be in the fall and/or summer.

Oh good question!

US = NYC (i love the bustle)
Europe = Rome (😍😍 the food, oh my)

And locally I know a great camping site and beach a couple of hours from here, and I can totally see me retiring near there. Bliss.

Favorite trip(s) I've ever taken were to the Virginia/Maryland/Pennsylvania area. Sooooo much history there, I feel like I've only scratched the surface. Been out there twice now and probably going to go out again next year with our son. That trip will probably be more D.C. focused, which is fine with me but I'm more into battlefields and things like that. I also hear there are some intriguing women in that area... 😁

Internationally, I've only been to Juarez, Mexico and London and Nottingham in the UK. London was my favorite between the two.

San Diego is great! I've been there a dozen times for several weeks at a time. Other than the long work hours, it was great!

Cocoa Beach Florida was also great, but again long work hours dampened it a bit.

I also greatly enjoyed Ontario (outside of Toronto) I've been all over Southern Ontario and it's really nice. (Again lots of work) Niagara Falls is sooo much better from the Canadian side.

Washington DC was really cool, but too many people and I was working.... I'd really prefer to visit the small towns about an hour or so West of DC 😁😉

In North America? Montreal.

Avila is somewhere I love, but do avoid the fish stew.
I love Montréal!

Ooh. I didn’t even think Canada. Don’t tell CCG.
Vancouver needs to be added to mine.
I consider Seattle and Vancouver suburbs of each other so one includes the other 😂

Vancouver has Whistler too though ❤️

England. Or more accurately, the UK (England, Scotland, Wales). But the smaller town and villages.
There is nothing better than wandering into a local pub, and having a pulled pint, and chatting with the locals.
Some of the best afternoons/evenings of my life.

Scotland and Wales is right up there as far as awesome vacations. Only been once, but man…the cathedrals and castles and the city of Edinburgh was amazing.
Sitting where Rowling sat in that little cafe writing Sorcerer’s Stone and basically seeing Hogwarts out the window was damn neat too.
