Hey @crazychemgirl I'm going to have to amend my submission. :p

We’re going to have to agree to disagree on that one. I travel often and you couldn’t pay me to deal with Midway.
Haha, fair. Midway was smooth for us a couple weeks ago. It's been over a decade since I flew in or out of O'Hare. So maybe I have some recency bias.

Maybe it’s not the worst if you are driving from a long distance and flying somewhere else? It’s not a good place to have a layover, there are less flights so if you miss a connection you’ll be stuck there longer, it’s much farther away from the city with less access to public transportation, and it’s not in an area you’d want to spend the night or go eat if you have time to kill 🤷‍♀️

Ya, we're only about an hour and a half away so it's kind of an ideal departure spot for us. I could definitely see layovers sucking though. O'Hare isn't much farther of a drive, I just prefer the less hectic nature of Midway. I'm too much of a country boy, haha.

I prefer less crowded places, but my biggest priorities are efficiency, convenience, and comfort. I can get to O’Hare with a fare that costs less than parking, wiz through security, and eat something delicious before boarding when I leave my house 90 minutes before my flight 😂

Chicago is actually on my short list of places I want to visit. I don't know about the people though. Are they cool?

:p

The ones that aren't shooting at you or mugging you aren't too bad. 🤣

And honestly, knce you get outside of Chicago, it's like a completely different state.

And O'Hare is uniquely placed for those wishing to sample the thrillingly 1980s experience of Rosemont!

I spent half an hour in a shopping mall in Rosemont. It felt like the longest five weeks of my life.
Ever been to Atlanta? Exact. Same. Vibe.
Felt like I was in a shopping mall.

I can’t say I have ever shopped there, but they have some not terrible restaurants. Was your last trip there in the 80s? 😂
