An art gallery, just sitting.. walking leisurely.. and not dripping of sweat! Yeah.. definitely my go to, when it gets too warm!

Wonderful place to escape the heat and plenty of art to admire. I am particularly fond of the impressionists.

Ugh!! that is the worst, when you are actually able to smell the heat.. and that sticky icky feeling, of just.. constantly being covered in sweat.

We head to the zoo early once a month and when you can smell the humanity set in, that’s when we head out.

For all of my dreams of living a warmer place.. I do truthfully enjoy the climate up here. Drinking tea and knitted sweaters are hygge!

It is!!!!! It is just... Ugh... Not pleasant!!



The humidity is just yucky, cold or hot.. When hot.. The skin is constantly covered in that sticky layer.. Unable to actually regulate the body temperature..

In the winter.. The humidity makes the cold so much worse.. all the talk about wind chill factor.. yeah, we got that..
But.. it is the humidity that is the real culprit, that sticky cold.. it seeps into your bones and render you unable to feel warm. (Long live sauna!)

Still... I do like it up here!!

Ohhhh that wind chill is just so cutting!! And I hate that feeling of being chilled to your bones and not being able to heat up again.

When I go home to Scotland in winter it’s sooooo much colder. The wind chill is freezing. Living down south even though it only a few degrees warmer most of the time, sometimes only 2/3 degrees but it really makes a difference.

My dad says I’ve turned into a Southern Softy

I really enjoy sitting in the piazza, drinking a latte and people watching or reading. Definitely could get used to the Italian lifestyle.

Well at least you know it’s working. If it doesn’t hurt then you know where to work next sounds like you could use a fully body massage to work some of that out.

Eewwwww that’s disgustingly hot!! But you have air conditioning though, right?

AC is one of the few things I’m not laid back about. To me, it’s an absolute minimum standard quality of life requirement

Up here, A/C is something you meet in the supermarkets or museums

I can’t even imagine that. I was uncomfortable in Italy in early June when the AC wasn’t working and it was in the 60s overnight. The heat just builds up so much during the day that it didn’t cool off inside until 2 or 3 am.

I remember being in Italy years ago for a holiday with two of my best friends. We went to Sorrento and the heat was insane. Up near the 40's all week. I burnt to a crisp and blistered even after wearing factor 50 and constantly reapplying it.
Was a beautiful place but I'm clearly not meant to be in that extreme heat. Even last year when we had them in their 30's caused me to hide away

I liked him in the movie where he was the best at something (can’t remember what talent), but his attitude was getting in the way, and isolating him from others, but then he realized what was important and got what he wanted in the end. That was a great movie.
