There's been a little music festival in my village all weekend. Didn't get tickets cos I can hear it from my house and sitting on my butt with WiFi and snacks is much better than standing in a rainy field

It's nice that it happens though even if the occasional grump goes on FB to ask them to turn the volume down

That's nice! I get that here too. I can almost see the stage at the local fairgrounds and most nights I can hear the music pretty well from my porch.

I did. No wonder they stopped playing haha. Either screaming girls or grumpy old farts

oh...and there's downsides too. During the demolition derby and bump'n'runs I can hear the car engines from inside my house with a fan and TV on... It's fun to watch, but annoying to listen to.

I also hear the cows and calves bawling all night at the livestock auction. But only when outside, it doesn't get through the windows like the derby cars do.
