I must say that is the first time I've ever heard a request for French's ketchup. It seems to be the choice of restaurants that are penny pinching but don't want to use some completely generic brand.

I saw a documentary on it and apparently when Heinz closed down a factory in Canada and suddenly over 700+ workers and tomato farmers were out of a job … French’s came in and took over and hired everyone back.
