What didn’t you like about the movie? Aside from Wash and Book?Without Morena, Firefly wouldn't have been half as entertaining. I didn't like the movie though, it was... retarded.
Well, I really don't like when movies break the most basic laws of physics, and not even in a SciFi way. It means that either the director is that dumb and doesn't understand most basic things, or he/she thinks we are that dumb and we will just believe it.What didn’t you like about the movie? It’s because she’s really a Terminator. Didn’t you know?Well, I really don't like when movies break the most basic laws of physics, and not even in a SciFi way. It means that either the director is that dumb and doesn't understand most basic things, or he/she thinks we are that dumb and we will just believe it.
For example, the scene where the small karate girl is left with big monsters and she starts jump-kicking them with all of her 50 kilograms(in your face!), and then their 100 kilograms fly and crash into a wall, but apparently the law of action and reaction doesn't work and she doesn't go flying twice as fast into the opposite wall, but just lands on the ground. That silly man Isaac Newton and his ridiculous laws.
There are more examples although I don't remember the specifics, as I have seen that movie ages ago, but I remember groaning while I watched it. The movie's success was mostly based on the success of the show IMO.
FWIW I like seeing small girls beat up big guys (or reavers) - my kinda fun.Well, I really don't like when movies break the most basic laws of physics, and not even in a SciFi way. I thought it was the best fitting one, although my impression was formed like 15 years ago....really?
There's no other word you could possibly have selected here?
Who doesn't! That is why I like when it's done rightFWIW I like seeing small girls beat up big guys (or reavers) - my kinda fun.

I have scar tissue across my right knuckles from beating up a big guy. Well thumping him in the face once.Who doesn't! That is why I like when it's done right![]()
How far did he fly from that punch?I have scar tissue across my right knuckles from beating up a big guy. Well thumping him in the face once.
“They tell you, never hit a man with a closed fist, but it is, on occasion, hilarious”
Or you are super pissed.

About as far as a guy would from being shot with a shot gunHow far did he fly from that punch?![]()
I am not sure I am following. I thought you were saying that I was too harsh towards the movie, yet now I feel you are telling me I am using a non PC term? Retarded is a pejorative term in my eyes and the one I would never use on a person with impaired development. I am using it the way I would use "idiot" or "moron" for example. Both of these terms used to be formal medical terms, but thankfully, not anymore, and together with most of other people, I use them for regular people who do stupid things.Uh huh.
Just checking. It's not a word that's appreciated the way it was like 15 years ago, just FYI.

The important thing is that you contributed, hun.Wow. This thread just proves how truly bored I am. Think I'll go stick pins in a wax-doll or sumpthin'. Toss a little cemetery dirt and mummified rooster feet on someone's doorstep...
They're sure very different. I've not seen much BSG but Red Dwarf at its best is brilliant. Only half of it is good, though. Is it too late for me to say Red Dwarf is way better than Battlestar Galactica
