There ya go!

Great question. I think cause they didn't upgrade their sound to make the experience worth it. Fuck the stories I can share....So what happened to them? Why aren't there any around if they were so great?![]()
Well in reality, that would be no different than staying home and doing that while watching Netflix. A lot more comfortable, too. What movie? There was a movie...fuck![]()

There's a few reasons. They couldn't get the best movies. They cost more to run than a regular theater. The technology couldn't keep up when theaters upgraded. The one close to me in Tacoma became a bunch of office buildings. So what happened to them? Why aren't there any around if they were so great?![]()
Wow! I could so do that.Drive ins were almost always double features. They were great double date venues. We would switch partners for the second film...we'd bring our own beverages...and getting high is an inadequate term. We'd get so stoned...

Well I do admit, I love giving head in a car... so it would still be fun. And I have Tic Tacs with me al the time.Agreed...at least my toothbrush is close by vs bringing a to go blow pack, lol![]()

You are a good ....you know...leader...hugs you for the tipWell I do admit, I love giving head in a car... so it would still be fun. And I have Tic Tacs with me al the time.![]()
Exactly...gotta remember high school. No one had their own place. Friends were tight. If they knew you'd liked someone...it was an "innocent" way of being introduced. God I loved growing up.Wow! I could so do that.![]()
I lived near Rutgers University when I was in high school, so I hung out a lot on campus and a few of the frat houses. Good times! Good memories!Exactly...gotta remember high school. A couple of the houseboats here have big screens that unwind with a push of the button. They get the kids upstairs and toss out the pillowsThey actually do more of the same things in parks and stuff, albeit kid friendly movies.
You could even get the stuff for your back yard if you like.
Times changed JJ, drive-in played the movies that had already been in the theaters, or were the B role movies that we now know as direct-to-video. So cable TV and video rentals in combination with urban sprawl killed the drive-ins off in a lot of places. That's a shame because they were of great value for families and teens that only had limited means. Lots of teenagers found out all about sex in their back seats with more than a few babies being made. Good times. So what happened to them? Why aren't there any around if they were so great?![]()
JJ, are you talking about a vehicle or some hottie to go to the drive-in with???I don't have a pickup.![]()
To go back to PG or G for a second. I remember seeing the Jungle Book (cartoon) at the drive-in...Times changed JJ, drive-in played the movies that had already been in the theaters, or were the B role movies that we now know as direct-to-video. We'd pop grocery bags full of popcorn...and give it to the kids. They get the front seat...we'd take the back...lolTo go back to PG or G for a second. I remember seeing the Jungle Book (cartoon) at the drive-in...
Well a vehicle... but if I was going to a drive in theater, I'd want to go with a hot looking dude.JJ, are you talking about a vehicle or some hottie to go to the drive-in with???
