I would argue beating off a horse, regardless of its breathing status, is never a good idea.
Also, I think the discussion is fine. Has it been discussed a lot? Yeah. But the thread is fun. And you know what else has been discussed ad nauseum? Starting the next word with the last letter of the sentence above you. Or any other thing we’ve discussed at Lit. I get that people wouldn’t want to drag other names out there. That’s very fair. So let’s not have a witch hunt (we missed the opportunity to call it a bitch hunt, but I digress).
