Yeah, just looked up the average water temps for Hampton Beach, where I grew up swimming. We definitely started in June, when it says the average high is a about 60 F (17.2 C). The highest average is August when it gets up to a high of 68 F (20.7 C). Refreshing! 🤣
Hampton Beach was always ice cold to me compared to the Rhode Island beaches.

or Good Harbor where my nephew surfs and it barely gets above 19c (and he's supposed to teach me to surf this summer).
 
Freezing has never prompted me to strip 😮
Nap to death sounds acceptable though 🤔
I've heard that when you get close to really freezing to death, sometimes your body gets confused and thinks it's too hot :oops: Kind of like sometimes when you touch something really cold, it almost feels like it's burning, I guess.

Ohhhh I guess that makes sense.
Must remember to strike a good pose then, if I'm going to die naked and frozen 🤔
