What do you call a POTUS that can get an infrastructure deal done?

Sorry your reading comprehension skill aren’t up to the task.

Not at all. peck addressed some of the problems with truthout. Spinning and misleading is spinning and misleading.

Who says I don’t like them or not. I just don’t trust them.

What are you ascribing here? :D Please elaborate.

So which news organization is as pure as the baby Jesus as compared to Truthout in your mind? NY Times? Washington Post? MSNBC? You know as well as I do the mainstream corporate press will report lies like Iraq's WMD's without blinking. Acting like Truthout is some off the charts outlier when comes to reporting facts is pure B.S.

Everything I posted from Truthout is factual and common knowledge. Pretending like Biden didn't cave on infrastructure and strip desperately needed provisions to please right wing Republicans and his corporate donors because it was reported in Truthout is just childish.

AP, routers, bbc, cbs, abc, the hill. Other middle of the road media.

You seem defensive about truthout.

I’m not pretending anything, I’m just saying I don’t buy far into left rags anymore than I do far right ones. Childish is insisting on I take truthout at its word.

But maybe we’re back at how sausage is made.

Which one of those "middle of the road" corporate owned news outlets called out WMD lies? You know, the ones that directly led to hundreds of thousands of needless violent deaths of innocent men, women, and children in Iraq?

In contrast what errors in reporting by Truthout has led to the injury of anyone?

You seem to completely okay with big lies that get millions killed as long as comes from a corporate sponsored news source but some little read hippie news website you hold to the highest standards.

Your hypocrisy and lack concern for the people killed by the big lies spread by the "middle of the road" press is duly noted.

Half the booney Trumpies on the board will soon enjoy greater internet speeds to spew their shit here

And they'll probably thank someone else

Goalpost move! WMDs, good one!

I have no idea. How many? :)

Whose alt are you? I’ve got a thought on that. :D

But even The National Enquirer gets some things right early on, though the alien baby articles severely step on its credibility.

Grrr. Your penchant for ascription, goal post moving and faux passion are duly noted.

w000 h00000!

Jomar scores the Daily Double for getting the opposition to squeal "but..but..WMDs!".

You mean the one he inherited from Obama and managed not to fuck up? ;)

...

It's the economy stupid!

If the Obama economy was so great, why would the people choose not to continue it?

All we ever heard emanating from the Left is what a business failure Trump was.

It must have been Russian collusion. Right???

So you approve of the marriage between Big Government and Big Business
and all the little people picking up the tab, and then having to pay for it on top of it!

I would have never have thunk it...

Room temperature IQ on that one. :D

You’re off your game this morning because this is more lame than usual. Feeling ok? Hope you’re not coming down with something.

I approve of basic infrastructure (such as internet infrastructure) that drives American productivity be subsidized wherever possible by government.

That, in return, drives companies to focus on innovation and supply.

And yes, I know where government money comes from. Business money also comes from those same people..just not as full of a count.

If companies are the ones creating it, then they would only provide it to themselves for their own benefit. Government involvement allows those who may not have the funds to have access to it...allowing more people to have a chance to grow a business who might not typically have a chance

As long as I do not contract whatever has diminished your metal acuity is all good...

Give your the piss-poor state of your immunity system (recent bouts with "New Moania" and atrial fibrillation), it is probably a good thing that you are a recluse, an "online hermit" with very little social interaction with the real world.

The broadband is the biggest boondogle for the Beltway Bandits in the law.

My region got money to expand broadband and a company from NoVa did this "line of sight" microwave thing. The service was slow (10mb), expensive ($80) per month, and didn't work very well. The company got paid though.

Expanding broadband is just code for another give away to corporate interests. So what if I have 50MB available to my house if I can't afford it? And why would I want it. Probably half the people I know don't have internet at home, and don't want it.

It's another city problem being justified as helping dem poo dumb country folk...

Broadband being accessible is an issue. The problem is that we don't have enough elected officials born after 1970 who can understand emails. They get swindled by businesses.

The answer is to elect more educated people or provide better standards for the required service through proper oversight to

I'm generally in support of the law though. More money should go to roads, bridges, power grid and water systems though.

Hmmm, yep, way off. And the ellipsis confirming an aged and quite possibly infirm individual. Please have the visiting angel take your temperature.

What goal post move? You're the one who deflected the issue to the news media by whining about Truthout. I was clearly focused on Biden's predictable and reliable capitulation to Republicans.

You just can't seem to face the fact that Biden is weak, ineffective, bought and paid for corporate stooge for the insurance industry.

Feel free to respond now with more deflections, baseless and hysterical accusations of my identity, and your poor attempts at humor.

Former Vice President Joe Biden is winning the race for donations from Big Pharma but experts and industry stakeholders doubt his plans will successfully lower drug prices or address underlying issues in the industry.

The pharmaceuticals and health products industry has donated more than $5.9 million to Biden's presidential campaign, according to OpenSecrets.org, a site run by the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks political donations.

Former Vice President Joe Biden said during a 1974 discussion on campaign finance that he tried to "prostitute" himself to big donors during his first run for U.S. Senate but failed to get their money because he was too young.

Biden argued the political system was inherently corrupt because it forced candidates to go to the "people who have money," and "they always want something."

When someone is talking about a subject and you change the subject to include something unrelated....it's called goalpost moving

WMD! Fucking laugh riot dude!

As of July 19, 2021, according to the U.S. Department of Defense casualty website, there were 4,431 total deaths (including both killed in action and non-hostile) and 31,994 wounded in action (WIA) as a result of the Iraq War.

Who brought the news media into the conversation? Not me. Continuous talk of goal post moving is in fact the goal post moving.

I came here to talk about Joe Biden being Joe Manchin's little bitch and a bought and paid for corporate stooge for the insurance industry. It's the neo-liberals that keep derailing the conversation to something else.
