After sussing out my thoughts and emotions about Perg's passing over the last few days, I'd simply like to say that I wish I had taken the time to get to know him a better.
The shock of one of my peers passing before his time now subsided, I'm left with the regret that I did not soak up more of his light while it was burning.

Long-time GB poster Peregrinator passed away early Sunday morning, unexpectedly. I'm not sure if he had been an active participant here recently or not, but some of you may remember him.

Sorry, not much more to say about it for me. He was one of the finest people that I have ever known and was a peerless friend.

Losing a friend to suicide is always difficult for those left behind.

Hopefully his family will read this thread and feel our support for their unexpected loss.

I am very sad. I haven't read the thread, only enough to know that Perg is dead, and that's just...well, terrible. I truly enjoyed every interaction I ever had with him. He was that sort of person. Pretty complex guy. Hard to wrap up my feelings in just a few words.

He would be encouraging everyone to see their doctor sooner rather than later.
