What is your favourite song by Jesus, as we approach Easter you should decide.

As far as I know, Jesus didn't write any...

Solomon, however...

The bastard boy Yeshua bir Miryam, if he existed (no corroboration), was not alleged to have composed songs, either melodies or lyrics. The beatitudes *could* have been chanted with a drum accompaniment so that could be as close as you'll get. Did this Magic Jew maybe teleport a dobro back from the future so he could wail to the crowds? We may never know.

Easter, named for the fertility goddess Ishtar, sure could see a number of springtime let's-go-fuck-in-the-bushes chants and songs. Plant those eggs, baby.

Meanwhile, I've long thought to write of Yeshua's pan-sexual adventures while traveling through the Mediterranean and Mideastern world, sending very different letters back home to his mom Miryam, brother Hyman, and girlfriend Sara. A village in Japan claims he got that far -- holy sushi! That definitely needs a song.

In the spirit of Easter's economic impact, I think I'd have to go with Jesus's version of Here Comes Peter Cottontail... oh wait, I'm thinking of Gene Autry.

Sorry.

God is Dead - Marilyn Manson

"As an artist, Marilyn Manson is saddened by the efforts of others to frame his creative efforts as something more than giving voice to the longings of a generation.

As a man, Marilyn Manson's relationship with God was always platonic; and suggestion of improper touching is categorically denied.

Thoughts and chants to the family of God at this difficult time."

The pope's incensed

The clergy raves

But none-the-less

Jesus shaves!
