Hello From My Englishness

Most biscuits are ruined by dunking as is the tea into which they are dunked.

A rusk, however, becomes vaguely edible when moistened.

I know a few things that become edible when moistened (or is the other way round.)

I'll get my coat!!

Tesco do chocolate Rich Tea's, they're very dunkable too but they get messy quickly

I've always found the Rich Tea to be too dry to eat without dunking and too soggy (to the point of collapse) once dunked. Not that I'm a fan of dunking, that is the Devil's work! :)

Rusk is soggy baby food . Hob nobs or Aldi stem ginger cookies react positively in the tea

Biscuits in tea....that's some sort of beverage molestation, surely?

However, cheese on toast dunked into tomato soup....Mmmm

OMG!!! Nick, horror of horrors!! :D:D I'm gonna laugh at this one for a long time .... then try it :)

Beverage molestation, love that turn of phrase. Going to use it whenever someone makes my coffee wrong.

Poly, you telling us there's magic in your dunking :D

Sorry have to reply separately cos I can't fathom out how to do those 'all on one posts' like you smart folk do :)

Cherry ~ You use the "multi-quote" button to select the posts that you want to quote. This is the button next to the "Quote" button at the bottom right of each post. It has a quotation mark with a plus sign on it. When you click on it, it turns pink. Once you have selected all the posts that you want to quote, then click the "Quote" button on the last post you chose to multi-quote.

Thank you, I'll try it in the future, I couldn't fathom it

I feel this is another horrible moment where my Britishness is again called into question as I do not drink tea or coffee. So there is no dunking going on at this point, nothing is getting moist and no halves are falling into hot drinks.

The cheese on toast idea though, this has potentials...
