Are you living the life that you wanted or the life that you needed? Or still, just the life given to you.

How are you making the most of it?

Heavy, man.

I'm currently living a life that was built over a lifetime of depression and not knowing how to value myself, and working to reshape that into something that more accurately reflects who I am, and who I want to be.

My biggest challenge has been building a support network by finding people and activities that are a good fit for me in a (small) town that is decidedly short on the arts and cultural activities.

My motto is 🎶'Keep Moving Forward'🎶 from Meet The Robinsons.

Mine is almost opposite, I'm in a small city with lots of art and cultural activities, but mostly find them overwhelming at most times. I love music, but can't really get into the concerts because I really can't stand being around that many people any more.

Ah. *nods*

Introvert? Anxiety? HSP?

No, I'm an extrovert. I just don't really like crowds that much. Get me with about 6-10 people I'm fine. I love meeting up with people, eating, drinking sitting around a fire naked.

I get it. I'm an extrovert too.

But I'm also highly sensitive (HS). I love peopling but I get overstimulated by the noise, the movement, the visual barrage of a large crowd.

Can you be more specific?

I see the world as basically a forced labor camp from which the workers-perfectly innocent are led forth by lottery, a few each day, to be executed. I don't think that this is just the way I see it, but the way it is. Are there alternative views? Yes of course. Will they stand up to close scrutiny? No.

I read this quote from a book called "The Sunset Limited" This is really what I think that I never could really put in words.
