I've always been a Jamesons/Stella/gin lover. Recently I've discovered Old Mout cider and taken to having a bottle when I get in from work. It's bloody lovely. Strawberry & pomegranate especially.

What's your tipple?

Pure clean water

Nothing like a glass of pure clean cold water.

Today is National IPA Day here in the USA. I shall partake in the celebration with a Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA after my bicycle ride this afternoon.

Bloody Mary's yum.

There was this modest pub that I used to occasionally have lunch at on Sundays.
Fantastic atmosphere (unassuming people smiling at you, cheap homemade food).

Pubs are the greatest invention by Brits.

A good pint of Bass. From a cask. But it's a bastard beer to keep and finding a good pint of it is hard work. Spirits wise I'm partial to an Absolut and fresh orange juice screwdriver.

Tully > Jameson. I do love me some Jameson as well though.
Casadorez tequila
Every now and again a glass of red.
Beer that is cold.

If we're talking whisky, single malt scotch is FAR superior to Irish. Lagavulin is nectar. It's hellaciously expensive, though.

I can't get with scotch. Perhaps it's because I have never had anything on the high end, but I cant see spending a ridiculous amount of money on a glass of whiskey.

I've seen the prices for good scotch in the US, it's scary.

I do. And apparently Tesco do 16 year old Lagavulin at fifty quid a bottle, which is bloody good. Might treat myself.

Do it. There's some rhubarb gin I fancy at £35, when all the decorating is done I'm going to treat myself.

I've tried to like them but keep going back to Jamesons, just can't get with them either. Me Dad used to drink Paddy's whiskey.

I make amazing fruit gins. At the moment i have one I've made from a citrus hybrid we have growing in the dining room, which I think might be my finest creation. It's one you can drink neat, and the alcohol content will barely be noticed until you fall on your arse.
