Where In The World Is Madam Ghissie Maxwell?

No, you are totally wrong, as usual. I already told you why he was fired. Berman did not have a presidential appointment. He was an interim placeholder until a replacement for the fired US Attorney in the SDNY, Preet Bharara, could be arranged.
A replacement for Preet Bahrara has however not been arranged. Barr just wanted to install his own placeholder of choice.

Has she died, yet?

Give it time, the unfortunate accident is still being negotiated.

Ok, joking aside (although it's still a distinct possibility) I think she's got a good defense position.

If she's part of what was going on, and what's been alleged was ACTUALLY going on, then the pressure will be on those involved to keep her quiet. A trial with witnesses and evidence that exposes the powerful is not in their best interests.

If she's NOT part of what was going on, and as above it was going on, then she's got nothing to worry about. It depends on what the government can prove about her level of involvement. If she was just a financier or door opener who didn't know, then she's home free. People might BELIEVE differently, but the proof is where the pudding is.

Last is the kicker, at this point we have no one to testify against her. Epstein is dead and what's left is evidence which may or may not incriminate Maxwell but will CERTAINLY incriminate others whether she's convicted or not. The victims can tell their stories but unless they can put her into it, then what's left is that she was there but not necessarily actively participating.

The final question about why was she still inside the US is simple. There are a lot of well connected people around the world who, if what was alleged to have been going on was indeed going on, who would like her to disappear. The risk of that happening is greater outside the US than inside it.

Especially when there's 150 acres surrounding a house no one knows you own.

Have you read the indictment?

Victims will testify. There are also two counts of perjury as well. I think even if she turns states evidence and burns a lot of important people, she'll still be looking at a substantial stretch.

I think the FBI has been tracking her for some time and she probably didn't want to chance airport security or a border crossing.

What happens if she cooperates and doesn't fight the charges? Plea deal? Is that an option?

Playing off your post and adding to the "conspiracy theory."

Just a couple of weeks ago Barr fired the DA for the Southern District of New York. And exactly where is this case be investigated? Obviously the press started screaming politics, etc. Now, even before the office can settle in, Maxwell is taken into custody.

So what if the DA got canned for dragging feet on the Epstein investigation? As you say, the rich and powerful have many strings to pull, was he one of them?

They won't kill her cuz too obvious so they'll make a deal where only small timers get busted and she gets a lighter sentence. Anyone thinking Clinton or Trump are gonna go down is dreaming. Never happen.

I think she still does a substantial amount of time in prison. She's looking at a max of 35 years right now. Two counts of perjury alone under federal law carry a max sentence of five years on each count, but Judges can punish a perjurer who lied under oath to hide or assist a crime in a way that goes beyond the sentence for perjury. A perjurer can be charged as an accessory to a crime the perjury is designed to hide or assist, such as Epstein's actual crimes against minors.

I'm seriously wondering if she is ever going to get to trial alive. There are some big named people who were involved with Epstein who could very well be exposed by Maxwell, and probably will once she realizes how the rest of her life is going to go in prison.

As we all know she is innocent until proven guilty ;), but if she is guilty it's good to know she will have to do a substantial amount of time. It'll be interesting to see if this sheds any light on how Epstein made his millions.

House of Windsor must have their knickers in a knot. :)

The Clinton household as well as well as dozens of others. Here is an article that could explain some of Epstein's acquired wealth:

What's important at this point, of course, is the Trump connection--and the amusement of watching the board Trumpettes distract and deflect from Trump having been a player in that world to a HUGE extent.

All of these nice photos--and more--of course won't budge Trump (or his Trumpettes) from saying he never even met her--or Epstein--or any underage girls.

Oh my!

I wonder if Lex Wexner was gay? Who gives up poa over their finances and gives away a NY townhome for free?

Many have suggested Epstein maintained a data file on every one of his guests, photos, audio recordings, records of their comings and goings, etc. They all may have been engaged in sexual crimes against children and other deviancy that Epstein may have policed and secured by implied extortion.

The amount of stupid SkypilotStolenValor displays is mindbending because, despite supposedly being an officer in the military, he's never heard of the phrase "innocent until proven guilty".

Meanwhile, back to the thread:

If I was writing this as some kind of spy novel, I'd have the backdoor communications lines burning between Prez Macron of France and a BUNCH of foreign dignitaries as well as the rich and famous telling him that he needs to "come clean" with the information the Maxwell was a "secret agent" of France working to ensnare Epstein and that she has "diplomatic immunity". In exchange for not disputing that claim, I'd have Macron make a deal with the US to pull fully out of Iran in all business dealings.

Maxwell would be expelled from the US and back to France where she'd be told that she was going to spend the rest of her life on a rather elegant and large estate but she wouldn't be allowed to leave the country ever again. Oh, and no one of any note or influence would take her call or visit.

If you dig, you'll find some allegations that he was involved with procuring some of the VS models for the Chateau and island visitors.

Cite where I ever posted I was in the military, liar. I wasn't.

This is yet another lying Trumpette false accusation that never will be answered--because it can't be.

Harpy can't even explain why he thinks it has any relevance to this thread. It's just more malicious, lying Trumpette attempts at distraction and deflection from the shit that Harpy and other Trumpettes are supporting but can't justify supporting.

KeithD was passed around Epstein's Island like a cheap bottle of rum.

But servicing all those celebs and powerful people must have been kinda cool.

When you are trying to hide your disgusting posting persona, any lie will do, right? :D

You Trumpettes are really trying to pump out the distraction and deflection from Trump's player role in the Epstein world, aren't you? Think that's gonna work, sweetheart? :D

Boy, you’re just angry with the world, aren’t you? I guess spotting fat ladies doing their squats and wiping down the benches takes its toll on one’s psyche after awhile.
