So apparently my question was not well received. Lol. So let's keep this a little more open.

I know I've been away for a while and in truth I don't interact much but I've been thinking a lot about something and thought it might be an interesting discussion. Plastic surgery. Anyone had it or want it? And if you had something done, were you happy? Did it achieve the desired results?
Any thoughts, tips, or advice to share?

You had a question???? Really??? That's unheard of! ;)

Anyway to answer this one........naaahhhhhh....I'm pretty enough. No sense to fuck up a good thing. ;)

I would love to get Lasik, but my opthamologist once told me that he could either correct my near vision or my far vision, but not both. Unfortunately, I see bifocals in my near future :(

I have not had any sort of cosmetic surgery, fillers or injections although I have reached an age where a few friends have done Botox. My plan has been to age gracefully and I hope to do so. My grandma and mom have always looked a lot younger than their years and they taught me to take good care of my skin, so... *fingers crossed*

I vacillate between being anti-cosmetic surgery and thinking that people can do whatever the heck they want. I think as long as the desire for an elective surgery or procedure is coming from a healthy, reasoned place - to each their own. It's when people begin hacking up their bodies in an effort to conform to our insane idea of body ideals that it makes me feel concerned and icky.

I have a friend who lost a considerable amount of weight and had a tummy tuck and had her upper arms done, too. I guess it would be an arm tuck? Anyways, she had them done at the same time and said the arm surgery was the more painful and difficult recovery.

And I'm happy for her that she had the surgery because it fixed an actual issue (extra skin) that was impeding her on several fronts. In a case like that, I believe in the power of cosmetic surgery.

I hope to have cosmetic surgery at some point. I want a breast reduction. I spent most of my life being so vain about it though. It defined who I was (to myself- that short girl with big tits)

Without large breasts, who would I be???

That was when I had amazing insurance. Stupid me!
Now I'll still have to pay for a portion of it, so it's a process.

Even if you didn't have big tits, I'd still love you (although I do love the girls ;)

I may get a tummy tuck at some point when I get to the weight I want to be. Other than that, no. I've earned every wrinkle.

I would love a boob lift. I don't want to change the size because this size suits my frame but I wish they weren't so droopy.

I am considering this very much. Partly for pure aesthetic and partly to help me continue losing weight. Right now the excess weight sits weirdly and greatly hampers my ability to workout without injuring myself. So I'm on the fence as to wait until closer to goal or do and extended (plus size) abdominoplasty.

Just do each eye one way and then just close the one you don’t need. Simple.

It was worth every penny. And I am now slowly getting to where I need readers. But quite a few years without having to worry about contacts was very nice

When I was a kid, I wanted it. My mom always made fun of my "big" nose. Said she would get me a nose job for my 18th birthday. But by the time I was in high school, I realized that I don't have a big nose at all. My mom has a tiny nose. Ha!

As an adult she insisted that I get eyelid surgery because she had it. She looked no different after. She was angry at me for years for not getting it.

I highly doubt that I would get any kind of plastic surgery. My family ages well. I'm 60 and no wrinkles yet.

I definitely want my tits done, and my ears if that's possible! I have pointed ears like an elf that I hate

I've only just started to feel really comfortable in this body.
Both my sisters have had breast augmentation and they love the results. I'm going to stick with what I've got.

My belly button is completely different after a few abdominal surgeries. Does that count?

After seeing Vanna White looking like a cast member for The Walking Dead, no thank you. Scary YIKES!!!!!!
I have a couple of marks on my tummy from a feeding tube & having my spline removed. Made me a little self conscious but I'm fine with it now & don't care what others think, I am who I am, I'm happy & I'm alive.

Hi i'm open to plastic surgery and i think it's OK if you want to change a bit the way you look to feel better. I had once a breast lift after giving birth and it really helped me to feel better and more confident. My relationship with my family and friends became better and closer. I had a breast lift in a really good surgeon center where all the medical staff helped me to overcome my fear and were kind and polite to me. Surgeons are highly-qualified and experienced doctors. I was very pleased and happy to be operated there. Here is the link if anyone needs it https://www.seattleplasticsurgery.com/breast-augmentation-in-seattle-tacoma/ .

varicose veins and the family chin..

I’ve had varicose veins removed twice and I was very happy with the results. That procedure isn’t really plastic surgery but it’s something I’ve had done..

I’ve had two conversations with two different doctors about my chin/neck. It’s going to happen, I’m not sure when..

I want a nose correction and a brow lift. It's not so invasive but I can't decide to go for it. It's been a while, but I'm still going back and forth.

It’s not for me! I’m growing old as gracefully as I can. I have earned my laugh lines and the furrowed brow, all good!
