Republicans are quite simply un-American

Once upon a time, Ayn Rand-reading, red-baiting Republicans denounced Soviet Russia as an evil superpower intent on destroying the American way of life.
My, how things have changed.

The Grand Old Party has quietly become the pro-Russia party — and not only because the party’s standard-bearer seems peculiarly enamored of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Republicans are now spouting Russian propaganda and blocking election security bills that would help defend against Russian meddling in future U.S. elections. The NRA has been caught laundering Russian money and then giving it to Republicans lawmakers.

Intelligence officials informed members of the House of Representatives that Russia is interfering in the 2020 campaign to try to get Trump re-elected, mirroring the country’s meddling in the 2016 race.

Rather than take actions to protect America from Russian interference, the Republicans have attacked American intelligence officials for daring to brief Congress on the Russian threat in the first place. Apparently speaking ill of Russia is a sin that the Republican Party of today will not tolerate.

The United States is under attack.

Russia is aiding Trump is the 2020 election, intelligence officials told lawmakers. Trump's immediate concern is not that the United States is under attack. No, Trump's immediate concern is that Democrats might exploit the news that he's being aided by a hostile foreign government.

Give me a list of 100 names of people that Russia was able to influence to provide votes for Trump.

What a stupid post. You for one. And who the hell owes you anything?

What previous poster's alt are you, again? (In one of your dumber moments, you admitted to having been here for some time.) And why did you see the need to begin all over again with a new alt? I presume I put your last alt in ignore. I'll just do the same with you now. See you briefly in your next alt manifestation (infestation?).

Typical Democrat.

Personal attacks with zero proof and zero believability.

You forgot to call him a racist.

I didn't vote for Trump. I sat out. How dumb do you look now?

I don't know what your obsession is with me being an alt account. And no, I never talked before with you about this.

And I am a 2 time Obama voter.

Also not saying anyone owes me anything but if Russia had such a huge influence then show me the ads which caused people to vote trump. If you can't find at least a hundred people it swayed it's no of consequence based on the election results.

The mistake you made was asking a Democrat Party member to backup his statements with proof.

That is ONLY allowed when it's a Democrat demanding citations from anyone other than a Democrat.

Rumor has it, Keith has an alt or two and supposedly some unsubstantiated claims himself. (second hand info - who really knows the truth?)

Republican strategist Steve Schmidt said President Trump is complicit in an attack on the United States of America.

Republican strategist Steve Schmidt blasted President Donald Trump on Thursday for his response to learning about an intelligence briefing delivered to the House Intelligence Committee last week, saying that Trump is again “abusing his power.”

Trump reportedly was furious upon hearing that the committee — particularly Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) — was told that Russia is looking to interfere in the 2020 election to help keep Trump in office.

Afterward, he removed acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire, whose office gave the briefing, and replaced him with a new acting director who has displayed greater loyalty to the president but has absolutely no intelligence experience.

So let’s not mince words: Trump and his GOP defenders appear to be actively abetting an attack on our country. By contrast, Democrats can be accused only of passivity — a serious abdication, but not remotely comparable to what Trump and his defenders are orchestrating.

The details of this story — outlined by The Post and the New York Times — again suggest that Trump will stop at nothing to escape accountability at the hands of voters in a free and fair election, regardless of the damage done to our country along the way.
Trump is angry because our intelligence officials followed the law and informed members of both parties about what the intel indicated about new Russian efforts. Trump “berated” his acting director of national intelligence, Joseph Maguire, for allowing this heresy.

Trump was particularly angered by the presence at the briefing of Rep. Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif), who led the impeachment. Trump says Schiff and Democrats will “weaponize” these revelations.

In short: Our intelligence officials have concluded that another effort to subvert our election is underway. And Trump’s leading worry is that this could be used against him, not that our election is in grave danger of being compromised.

Looks like Bernie is getting some help from the Russians. Time for a 3 year investigation into him?

It's not...never has been, you're just a sore loser.

Well Alaska was until we bought it off them for some beads. Or was that New York. Never mind. We bought Alaska from the Russians.

I wish we'd scored Greenland, too. That would have been yuge.

Not from the Russians .

Swamp is getting a little shallower!

LOL

The swamp is getting deeper by the day. Trump claimed he was going to drain the swamp but instead he brought or imported more swamp. All Trump has done is fire all the good intelligence people and replaced them with persons who have no intelligence experience. He has few confirmed people as directors or department heads so that he can fire them without a Senate investigation or action.

Trump continually gripes about the "Deep State". The only "Deep State" is in Trump's mind which is very shallow. Trump's claim of a "Deep State" is based on the two lovers working for the FBI who swapped emails about Trump.

The old Republican Party is dead. All there is now is Trump's GOP (Grab Our Pussies) cult party consisting of fanatics who spout lies and other garbage. I say this as I either worked for or was a registered Republican for 56 years. I believed in the Republican values but Trump's Republican cult Party is spineless and gutless. They support Neo-Nazis and White Supremist, voter suppression and Trump as a Dictator. The Democratic House gave the Senate a perfect way to rid our Nation of the worse president we have ever had but instead of doing what was right they bowed before their Dictator.

You like to spout off! Cite for us all any proof that republicans support Neo-Naziz or White Supremacist. Show us any form of voter suppression, where does that exist, unless you consider having proof of citizenship ( ID ) voter suppression? The dem house is the epitome of the swamp, all progressive anti-american values socialist.

Your brain dead. Grab our pussy cult party, ROTFLMAO. When you look in the mirror you must see Obama's ass. You have no clue as to what Obama's DOJ and FBI has done to our nation.

The problem is people on that end end of the political spectrum think with their heart and not their brain.

They FEELZ therefore they are.

They seem to think writing a wall of text outlining their feelings and beliefs is tantamount to evidence that is admissible in court.

Speaking of feelings, I'm a lot more comfortable with the grab em by the pussy cult than the caress em gently by the shoulders cult or the call them horse faced lesbians cult running for president from the left side of the pack.

But those are my feelings, just to be clear.

Yea, they gave up the "progressive" economy that starved/murdered tens of millions in favor of a market economy.

Because capitalism is better.....

Now it's the (D)'s like you are trying to Mao the USA, intent on destroying the American way of life.
You're spouting Koolaid speech... parroting talk radio like a ventriloquist dummy.

Putin... the Kruschev educated ex KGB guy is executing capitalism because capitalism is better? Bah Hah...

And the democrats are trying to Mao the U.S... Bah Hah... more parroting of talk radio... democratic socialism is not socialism... so you obviously don't understand the difference but you willingly promote the republican approach to make economic slaves of the middle class and poor for the sake of creating an uber wealthy, ruling class.

Unfortunately the people on the far right of the political spectrum don't use their brains... they simply parrot what is told to them, performing more like ventriloquist dummies. They don't require truthful disclosure... they don't require facts nor evidence... they simply believe what is told to them because they want to believe they're righteously superior when, in fact, nothing could be further from the truth.

LOL... I used the same belligerent tactic whenever my mother told me I should eat all my vegetables because there are starving people in the world... "name two"
