Well i am at level 3 of 10 for shock value...

I'm not a doctor, but aleve (or generic naproxen) is the best. Take two immediately on the onset of the pain, with two extra strength acetaminophen. Then take them on regular schedule (every 8 hours for the naproxen and every 4 hours acetaminophen) religiously, until you can start tapering off. Just don't mix naproxen with ibuprofen, and go light on the alcohol while taking acetaminophen.
