Every once in a while somebody finds Lit stories elsewhere, I was looking for something to read on Wattpad and ran across a user who had a collection of stories from here. I scrolled through them and in a spot between pages, there was a list of other people that have done the same. I'm wondering if these were done with permission or stolen, despite giving credit to the original author.

Some folk publish on both platforms, others have their work stolen. All you can do is alert the author here, I guess - they'll know if it's them or not.

I put up a few on Wattpad myself and I’ve found a few other lit authors there. The more story less sex ones seem to do better on Wattpad for me.

What I found was somebody with a collection of other peoples stories. If it gets deleted it gets deleted, but here's the link https://my.w.tt/nR7bRkNV92

I'm just trying to get the word out. I started to write on there too.

If it's a collection of somebody's stories but doesn't look like the Lit author as you know them, then it's more likely theft, but might not be.

You should remove the link from your post though - if it is theft, don't advertise; and it's against Lit policy to link to (promote) another publishing site. There's a sticky at the top of the page for warnings like you've given.

I know. I didn't do it to promote, but to see if anybody knew anything. Each page has the authors name, but it could still be theft.
