10 years ago today, I stumbled upon this site. I'd read Literotica for years and decided to try finally write some of the stories that rambled around inside my head. When I created my profile, I somehow ended up on the forum site and thought "What the hell? Why not?"
At the time, I was in a horrible, abusive marriage and did not see an escape. I survived solely to protect my children from my husband, their father. I thought that Lit might provide a distraction.
What I found on Lit, specifically on The Playground, was a group of people who accepted me for who I was, not who someone or society thought I should be.
I also found friendships, and hope. I developed friendships with some who I have met in person, some who I have talked to on the phone or on video, some I exchanged messages with on various chat sites, some I traded PM's with, and some who I passed the time with on various thread and games.
Each and every one of you gave me hope, courage, and strength. Ultimately, I divorced my ex-husband, and created a life for myself.
I am now married to an amazing, loving, kind man. He is my best friend, my soulmate, and my partner in crime. For the first time in my life, I am truly happy!!!
None of this would have been possible without the amazing friends that I found on Lit. Stumbling onto this site literally changed my life.
For each and every one of the friends that I have made in the past 10 years, THANK YOU!!!!!!
