I think it’s the discussions and the community that keeps me coming back.
Yes the people I’ve gotten closer have other ways to reach me and we talk elsewhere but the boards always have something going on and it’s a place to be flirty and silly or even just kill time...all while sitting at home in your pjs, or while ignoring stacks of paperwork sitting on your desk


It’s a lovely little escape from the day to day doldrums of “reality”

For me, I was told about lit 4 years old and just was only on it for the stories. I had no idea about this other area. So I read for many years. Then I wanted to see if one of my stories could actually get published. So I created my account and got my story submitted. It got published. Then I found the boards and haven't left. Got daring and started posting my own pictures. I stay to feed my exhibitionist side and have been having fun with that and meeting new people. And of course...lol....all the dick pics I want.

Well, I am just a simple girl. I find Lit a turn on and less likely to get me into trouble than most other exciting turn ons. Sometimes I read stories, usually I share pictures because I find it rather enjoyable, sometimes I just kill time, learn something new, meet someone new etc.

The is the first and only adult community I have ever joined, so I have no idea if I'd enjoy another, I probably would, but I am happy here My other online communities such as mom groups, crafting, facebook, well they would frown upon me flashing them. My online location is based on what I am looking for or looking to talk about at that moment. The people may be why I pick a specific site over another in the same genre, but I am in the mood for that genre. If I am just looking to talk to friends, I go out with friends or to sites that are predominantly women in my are group with similar lifestyles and interests. This is where I come to make new pervy friends and get a cheap easy thrill.

Well it's not the stories that keep me here and I don't frequent all of the pic threads either. Overall it's mostly the shenanigan's and fun times when people are actually having fun in the PG. Plus I'm always learning a new word or abbreviation I'd never heard of before or never heard used in that particular manner. Then there's being able to be touched by someone's vulnerability when they are heartsick until suddenly a host of others here enfold them with support and love. All of that pretty much outweighs the trolls and embittered haters trying to disrupt peoples escapism and desire for a brief moment of fantasy.

Have others here left lit for a long time and then returned? I’d like to hear their answers to this in that context!


What made me stay was the audio thread. When I joined, there were more people and it was some really deep answers (lakesailor, where are you?!). It humanized the place. I flirted a bit but, through absolute random chance, hit it off with someone for no specific reason or fault of my own. And I think, at least while we are together, it’d be hard to give it up. We have mutual ‘lit friends’ and discuss some of the thread topics. So I keep coming back even though I’m not posting as much. But I do read.

So lit gave me two of my greatest loves. It’s pretty insane, when I think about it. And I’ll always be thankful this place exists - not just because of my experiences, but because I know it’s a great outlet for a lot of people and has probably saved a few people, too.

ETA: all the random shit I learn from Ask for More. I keep meaning to verify some of it, but it’s ok to just blindly believe him as well. Right?

My signature is a summary of that: I came for the boobies, I stay for the weirdness.

I came here first to write. I wrote for six moths and lurked heavily (mostly AmPics and the PG) before I signed up in May of last year. I hung around the Authors forum, and published my first story. The first Lit friend I made encouraged me to explore the boards and expand my writing a bit. She even challenged me to write in a female voice.

I came to appreciate the weirdness and goofy threads. Hot tub for three? Sure. Orgy in the other hot tub? Why not. Baseless lies? Sign me up. Lick me? Absolutely. Talk dirty to me? Love it. (NOTE! Except Dr. Liz's Place. I take my duties in the Clinic's motor pool very seriously. I hope it re-opens soon. I miss Taco Tuesday.)

Lately I have even posted a pic and a couple of voice recordings.

I'm still writing. I have a new editor who I hope will help me get my latest one out soon. I have written a mystery, inspired by the very hot B&W pics in AmPics recently for the Summer Lovin' event. And I have the start of a Halloween story.

Oddly the story I started writing in December 2017 in a hotel room in Charlotte NC, remains unfinished but it is now 8 chapters. It may never see the light of day. It isn't too bad, just involved.

I like Lit and keep coming back because my relationship with Lit is "light". It's a place I come to distract myself, to look at sensual and sexual images, to banter with people I consider "friendly strangers" and to keep a low burn on the sensual side of life. Every now and then over the years I've connected with someone and developed a deeper friendship, which has been cool.

There's a microbrew pub here with some of the best sweet potato fries and those are my favorites. However my second favorites is beer batter fries. Otherwise as long as the fries are fresh out of the fryer I'm happy.

I like a good grade of ketchup on regular fries but have found that a good chili sauce condiment, which at face value resembles ketchup, is fantastic with fries.

When I go to Captain D’s i splash malt vinegar on my fries (and hush puppies)

Malt vinegars really good but the white vinegar has a little more bite to it. That whole vinegar and salt thing I guess. Kind of tasty anyway.
