As a Black American female, I have found it most challenging to find someone to date monogamously for the long term. Too often I’m fetished by White Men and by Black men, I’m not Black enough. It’s an awful complex to live and date in. Here I am down nearly 10 pounds, feeling confident but can’t get laid or a date even. It’s so frustrating. My own job hunt went slightly better today but my Independent Businesses, not so much sadly.

I think dating is tough for all of us. I've been single for 7 years and haven't found someone I really connected with. Embarrassingly, I have a difficult time just hooking up for some fun.

Dating is tough for all of us, but Zatanna is right. For those of us that fall in the assumedly 'undesirable minority' pool, the dating pond gets even smaller. At the same time, Z, I've read studies that state that although it takes longer when African-American women do meet their mates, the relationship lasts longer. So, good luck, and I definitely feel you ;) And, like others stated, that's why I use lit as a fun-for-all in the interim ;) (but still be safe and cautious all the same)!

In all seriousness, this could be a regional issue. Where in the country are you located? In California interracial dating is normative and nobody really gives it a second thought. In other parts of the country it's still viewed as exotically aberrant. It's harder to fetishize something that doesn't hold much of a social taboo.

We all NEED sex..

It is clear that you need more sex in your life than you are getting. You might also need to find your true soulmate for a life-long partnership.

As human's we NEED both of these things. These needs often get blocked and we are deprived of the natural enjoy sex because of SOCIAL madness. I am sure that you are right about race playing a roll in messing up your sex life. But it should not. Race should not have ANYTHING to do with our sexual experiences one way or another.

As a healthy human female you have a 'built-in' urge to fuck. We all do. We should all try to help others see sex as natural and wonderful. We need to be open to exploring our sexuality and experiencing sex with a variety of friends with benefits.

Meanwhile, I agree with the above comment about masturbation. I do have a number of lovers in my life and I have a soulmate husband that takes very good care of my sexual needs. But no matter how much I fuck I still set aside time to masturbate. It is a wonderful aspect of human sexuality that we can all enjoy when the urge strikes. By masturbating more you might find that you are less pent up and you will be patient in waiting for the right guys with whom you can share sexual pleasure.

Also, if you notice that you feel a sexual attraction to a guy why not just tell him openly that he turns you on and that you would like to have some no-strings-attached sex. There are lots of guys that will surprise you with how willing they will be to fuck you. Then you can be relaxed as you go through life looking for your true soulmate. Don't be hasty and play safe.

Hey Series 6,

They do, I've run into them via SLS and AFF. There are also a number of christian swingers groups mainly in the deep south.

However, Ms Z had a post on the South Carolina Role Call thread indicating she was nearby the SC/Ga border. I'm fairly familiar with the area along the SC/Ga border having worked a number of cases as a PI up and down the border. I feel for her.
