And another above me....
GOP Sen. Mitt Romney: 'I am sickened' over Trump's conduct revealed in Mueller report
Well, now. Romney is just the one who needs to be hit up side the head and asked what he's waiting for. He has been a good candidate to lead a believable real Republican revolt against Trump for some time. There isn't a damn thing that Trump is doing for the Republicans that the Republicans need--or can survive through the 2020 elections. Yes, they are putting judges in place, but even Pence can do a more satisfactory job of that than Trump is doing.
Perhaps it's because you skipped over those Congresscritters who are on Trump's side in order to find ONE Republican who isn't and has never been? Nah, you'd never stoop to doing that. It'd show how much of a political hack you are. Right?
This from the guy who claims the White House Press Sec.'s job is to lie.
lol
Do you honestly think any of the republicans as they've been led by McConnell have the guts to buck the power structure?
Well, the emails was an actual crime....pretty good reason.
Not that letting Hillary off for something we regularly lock poor people up for is any sort of elitism to worry about....keep crying about how offensive Trump is.
Oh shit you're a conspiracy theorist too now?
Jesus Christ you drank the Kool-Aid....sad![]()
LOL ........guilty until proven innocent isn't how shit works![]()
Apparently not. It's obvious to me that they have nothing to lose and a bit to gain by doing so, though. I think a coalition of mainstream Republican senators can tell McConnell to fuck off as well as they can say it to Trump. He doesn't hold much of a majority. And this damning (no matter what the Trumpettes here say--Trump himself said it fucks him) Mueller's Report is exactly the opportunity for them to say "enough is enough" and to become a force again.
On the other side, the Democrats have nothing to lose to open up impeachment. It's not a double jeopardy issue; Trump's corruption and criminality are so blatant, the survival of the American system needs it to be challenged; and those in Congress who won't support removal after all that is constantly being revealed about Trump deserve to have their Trump vote recorded and rammed down their throat repeatedly the next time they stand for election.
From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional e-mails were “up-classified” to make them Confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent.
With respect to the thousands of e-mails we found that were not among those produced to State, agencies have concluded that three of those were classified at the time they were sent or received, one at the Secret level and two at the Confidential level. There were no additional Top Secret e-mails found. Finally, none of those we found have since been “up-classified.”
So what crime was she convicted of again.....?No, it's not. Add irony to the words you need to look up.
Difference is, unlike the Trump investigation the FBI said she committed numerous felonies.

That's at least cause for a trial...but we'll let it slide because rich powerful (D)arling candidate for 2016 and that's ok, important (D)'s should stay above the law.
So what crime was she convicted of again.....?
To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions.
I never said she was convicted.
Glad we cleared up that there was no crime.
They won't. Not unless and until Trump becomes a liability. He's not yet. The base loves him. See above.
The democrats would be foolish to pursue impeachment. It's not there politically. When the independents support impeachment then it can be thought of as potentially realistic. Until then, there's other things to focus on.
Never said they were. I'm just calling you out for your hypocrisy & partisan hackery. Not being convicted doesn't mean there was no crime.
That's taking no.1 for the most idiotic shit you've ever posted.
FBI said she committed a bunch of felonies.
The only reason she didn't stand trial is because of (D) elitism running free and in everyone's faces.
They just have you so brainwashed you're ok with politicians being above the law, as long as they are Democrats.![]()

I'm sorry. I can't agree with this either--and two levels. First, the Trump sins against the United States are too egregious, blatant, and in your face not to directly say, "Hell no, go directly to jail" to. This is serious stuff in nation survival. It's gone beyond a political calculation. I've already fingered, I think, the political angle. Losing the vote in the Senate would not be a loss for the Democrats--it would be exposure of individual Republicans to the voters--and there's nothing to gain if you don't force the vote (for the first-level reasoning given). I noted it already. There's no double jeopardy on this. They can do it again and again. And they need to finger the people in Congress who vote to keep him and use that in the coming campaigns. Those voting for him need to be forced to actually do it--and live with it. It shouldn't be left a hazy "the Republicans." Each one who votes for him needs to be directly, individual tagged for doing so.
The "other things" issue is specious. There are only like three committees in each chamber that need to work on this investigation/hearings/impeachment. The rest can do other business. It's not like they've been doing business for the last ten years. The Democrats who aren't on those three committees can bring up other business.
But the bottom line is that Trump has posed a challenge to the American system that needs to be directly slapped down and punished for the preservation of that system. A few weeks ago, I believed it was OK to just let it go until the elections because the Senate would vote "no" anyway. But Trump just keeps feeding the Russians' needs to the max, being a total asshole, and tearing down this country, possibly irrevocably. I want those still willing to vote to keep him to have their names individually seared with an actual vote. (We might actually be surprised how many wouldn't carry through with him when forced to take a stand individually after the impeachment process.)
Never said they were.

I'm just calling you out for your hypocrisy & partisan hackery.
You just did.
There was no hypocrisy or partisan hackery.....just your false equivalency and wild presumptions.
Better luck next time.
Says the guy who just got busted for lying & making stuff up again. You've become pointless to talk to because you've become a coward who makes stuff up, gets called on it & runs, just like you're doing again.
