The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

Gorgeous Icy - I love the softness of your pics, and the light is perfect. You look amazing,

Thanks Allia. I rolled out of bed to take the pic. Lol

Gorgeous shot!! 💋💋💋

Thank you.

I've always enjoyed viewing the pictures you post here in AMPICS. This one is no exception. It's an excellent pose and rendition of the original and you are a beauty. :rose:

Thanks tnman. Very kind of you.

Your photos always show your inner light Icy, beautifully done! :rose:

Aww, thanks Tali.

Gorgeous Icy. A good interpretation

Thanks Todger. I just go for my interpretation rather than try to exactly copy.

Stunning, Icy!

Thank you Mara. You ladies were a pleasure to join here.

It's great to see this thread active again. Thank you ladies for your valiant attempts at mimicking the Goddess, but you are all too warm hearted to be taken for stone. :)

Aww, that’s sweet.

I’ve had an attempt at every othe work of art here.
I couldn’t let this be the only one I didn’t try.

So glad you tried it . . . and with such beautiful results.

Gorgeous, Icy! Such lovely lighting on your curves. I feel the same about doing it! I don't think I've missed any, but... I have a sarong with me. I think that might be drapable ;)

The problem is my attempt is so shockingly bad, I was going to wait and have another go when next in a hotel room but if it gets gorgeous Mara sharing hers, here you go...

I am blaming it partly on the fact I was using the same device to take the pic and check the pose... the sheet isn’t right... my pose isn’t right... my arm didn’t loop gracefully under my tit because the tit is too big and the arm is too short... I will try harder...

It bloody isn't shockingly bad, Allia, it's lovely. I adore the shadows on the breast. It is difficult to replicate this stuff, particularly in a mirror/second device/whatever. There never seems to be a way to stand which replicates the apparent weight distribution! I had massive difficulties with one pose because I couldn't work out where the arm went in relation to the exposed breast!

Great work Mara  You've nailed the shoulders, and your skin is practically luminescent. Beautiful.

So glad you tried it . . . and with such beautiful results.

Thanks JRP.

Thank you for trying. Your efforts were most successful. :D:D

Not really like the statue but then I’m nothing like the statue.

Gorgeous, Icy! Such lovely lighting on your curves. I feel the same about doing it! I don't think I've missed any, but... I have a sarong with me. I think that might be drapable ;).

Thanks Numi. Early morning light. I confess to rolling out of bed to take the shot then jumping back in. Lol

I hope to see a Numi rendition soon.

If the model is finding fault, the art critic is finding beauty.:rose:

How lovely to find that Venus lives and comes to our gallery.

More than a try, a lovely success and an artistic triumph.

I lack the confidence to attempt this quite exposed look by Lisa Yuskavage - anyone braver than me?

I absolutely love this painting for reasons I can’t quite articulate... the surreal with the sexy, the seriousness with the playful... there is something sad about it though...

Anywhos - I would love to see people’s take on it... and maybe when alone in a hotel room this coming week, I’ll see if I can summon the bravery to attempt it myself (although probably with the belly slightly blurred...)

btw - it’s called Pie-face in case you were wondering what was going on with the face... I may resort to a face mask rather than smash a pie in my own face...

Interesting choice... I get the "sadness" you mentioned. The curtain is a crudely pinned sheet, the room is drab and stale. But she's determined to have a good time, or at least a time.

I love the quirkiness of it.

I'd not viewed this painting before or even heard of it but I do admire its originality. I think you've describe it very well and I also believe that you could totally pull it off with an excellent rendition of your own. Even aside from the pie on the models face its still a fantastically appealing pose.

Accepting the challenge Allia.

Momma Mia! That is absolutely gorgeous Icy :heart:

I felt slightly odd picking a contemporary piece... I wondered what the artist would make of recreations on a sex site but now I’ve seen yours I am confident she’d be enormously flattered,

That's a beautiful rendition Icy, I love it!! You look fantastic. :rose:

Thanks tnman.

Thanks so much Allia.

Such a beautiful shot! So well done 😍💋

Thanks. I can never resist trying these copies.

Had to rely on a bit of jiggery pokery as in hotel with limited items... the flowers are superimposed (and hiding the phone that took the pic in the mirror...)

I’ve somehow managed to get the face a little like a phantom of the opera ghoul...

All in all... I don’t rate my attempt but I like the original a lot... and I shouldn’t suggest things if I’m not prepared to have a go...

This is only to viewed on a tiny, mobile screen - if you fuckers use big screens, I don’t wanna know... leave me in ignorant bliss...

Ignorant bliss??? Don't be ridiculous. It's a very good rendition and I think you did great. You are lovely indeed. :):rose:

Great job Allia.
It’s always so much harder than you’d think to try and get these poses.

And let it be known. I use a small screen. Lol
