Is there something that you think you should or would like? But after you've tried it, you realize you don't. Could be anything. Not just sex.

One thing for me is hash browns. Especially when they boast of being extra crispy. I love potatoes and I love (but only some) French fries. Hash browns always look wonderful in the picture. But when I get them at a restaurant or even try to make them at home, they always disappoint.

They're never crispy but sometimes the very outside is so hard and tough that I can't cut through them. They usually are not hot when I get them and most of the time they are just greasy and anemic. Ick.

Try Trader Joe’s shredded hash browns if you have them around you . I was like you in not being able to make them at home. I’m pretty impressed with them.

We have TJ's. Am waiting for the closest one to move to the new location across the street that has more parking. Do they come frozen?

Cooked cauliflower, spinach, and broccoli, love it raw but not cooked.
Reheated/leftover meat. I think it has a weird taste.
Fried chicken, eating anything off a bone grosses me out to the point where I’ll gag/throw up.
Frosted Pop Tarts (unless it’s smores, they’re the only exception).
Frosting - I always scrape it off. I even peel it off ho ho’s.

Water. I love looking at it, I find it very peaceful, but I hate getting wet.
Wet socks are gross.
Military welcome home videos. I don’t find them heart warming, I think they’re attention seeking. (I know I’ll catch hell for that, but it’s my opinion and it doesn’t have to be yours.)

I’ve seen them come both ways depending on what space they have but usually frozen.

Cantaloupe - Vile creation, should be banned from the face of the earth.

Cilantro - if I want to eat shit that tastes like soap, I'd eat Tide Pods.

I'm with you on most of that. I don't really like meat at all and leftover meat doesn't taste different to me but I know people who say it does. Don't like meat on the bone. If I have to eat a Poptart, the only ones I can stand are the frosted cherry but I'd rather not eat them. I do like some frosting but rarely ever eat it. I don't like cake at all. The worst is a bakery cake with that frosting made with Crisco. Ew.

Umm anything that looks creamy just throws me off. Hence anything to do with milk cream, or made off yoghurt, .

Also peanut-butter. I just dislike.

For unfrosted pop tarts I actually prefer the store brand to the name brand.

I also hate any kind of melon. My child LOVES it, so I gag while I cut it up.

Peanut butter? Really?? Crunchy peanut butter I don’t like. I’ve found off brand works best for cookie baking.

I hate the terms “nut butter” and “bone broth.” Quit trying to be fancy! Lol

I love peanuts to such an extent that adding buttery feel to it kills my mood . Haha.
And I hardly use butter to cook. Not that I do much cooking.

Yeah I have no idea what is a 'bone broth' except for fancy alliteration. Haha. I can see how one would dislike the terms .

I do hate meat with bones. Just reminds me of a dead creature. I know it's gross but that's why I do hate it. Even chicken, fillet or chicken breasts are good, but nothing that has bones.

Cilantro does not taste like soap it tastes delicious

I wish that was true. I struggle to eat anything that has cilantro in it. The other flavors just can't cover it up. If I have to put cilantro into something, I try to use something else like arugula.

There are studies about this. I find it fascinating because I’m picky as hell sometimes and I can’t detect anything even faintly soapy about it

Bananas I don't mind the smell, hell even like some banana flavored items. But I can't eat raw bananas, the consistency of them. All mushy, no thank you

Sleep. The entire world loves sleep. Except me... I just worry I’m going to miss something I shouldn’t. Or think I could find a better use for my time.
Plus insomnia

Yeah I can see your point about missing out on something though. I don't have insomnia but I have skipped on sleep many times in recent past. I just don't want my link to break if I am doing something. :D

It's a genetic thing. "For those cilantro-haters for whom the plant tastes like soap, the issue is genetic. These people have a variation in a group of olfactory-receptor genes that allows them to strongly perceive the soapy-flavored aldehydes in cilantro leaves."

Which is a shame, because for those of us without that sensitivity, cilantro, or as we call it here in the UK, coriander, is wonderful, fresh tasting, a lovely green hit in a salad or curry.

It's the same with whether you perceive that asparagus makes your wee smell funny. Some people just can't smell it, or don't produce the smell, or something. I love asparagus, but the after effects are disconcerting, to say the least.

In other news (sorry, this is really long!) I also love, love, love yoghurt, especially Greek yoghurt, and I adore to pull meat off a bone with my teeth.

I'll get my coat.... :D
