Still in hospital for the foreseeable future. I feel sorry for my poor cat.

Good morning Bistro friends . BrettJ !!! You worry us to tears. I continue to send prayers and good thoughts your way. It’s been pretty busy here. Most of my things are in storage. Had to unpack my essentials. So far I’m enjoying it. I’ve gotten to meet a few of my fiancé’s co workers and we checked out a new church. The big news we hired a realtor !! I really like her. So far she has found 7 homes for us to view . A couple I’m iffy on. A couple I give thumbs up . One has thus great view of the water but not much acerage. I’m used to having my gardens. I really don’t want to give that up. I’ve been informed that finding land in the Mandan/Bismarck area can me a challenge and costly. BrettJ I will send you the link to the homes. You give me your expert opinion !! Hope everyone has a fantastic Monday.

Hello to LING and NRSE with whom I just spoke.

I am not doing well at all. Was very sick last night after only 3 bites of dinner. This morning, even Cheerios caused me pain. I was supposed to go home today but NO WAY do I want out feelong like this. The pain hits almost immediately and it burns. I have had 2 medications for nausea and dilotted morphine for pain and I am still in anguish.

I hope this isn't another 12-day stretch like July, but if it is, I eant some answers. There is little sense sending me home if I just come back sick again.

I appreciate everyone being concerned. I also wish I had better news to share.

Just had a long meeting with the dietician and got more bad news. Things are really not good.

They just brought "dinner" if you can call it that. I had them put me back on clear fluids and even those are causing me discomfort. Perhaps in a few hours once I've got a bit more pain med in me.

There is a revealing photo of Wilmington NC in our paper today. Very sad. I will think good thoughts, about all I CAN do from here.

Texting our gracious Host BrettJ. Seems he has become a human pin cushion . I pray he has an easier day and keeps food down !

Things are smooth here in Mandan. I’m not used to not working . I don’t start at Sanford until next month and then only part time. I’m trying to get to know the neighborhood and find my way around. The highlight of my day is taking lunch to my sweetheart at the college. After, I’ve been hanging out in his office and reading his books. Big news is last night we accompanied our realtor to a new listing. I fell in love with the house immediately. So maybe this will be the one . The temp is only 50 here today. I saw in South Carolina it’s 90. It feels awesome. Bring on the snow !!

Things here have taken a turn for the worse. After not eating for 2 days and eating almost nothing for almost 2 weeks, I have agreed to a feeding tube. It will be done early next week.

I am also EXTREMELY PISSED to find out my story count has dropped by over 100 pieces. I hope rhis is just a glitch and not some fuck-wit troll messing around again. The stories were approved long ago, unless a rule has been changed, leave 'em rhe fuck alone! If anyone can contact Laurel or Manu on my behalf and have them PM me with an explanation, I would be grateful.

Tried eating today. The Lydocaine didn't last long enough before the pain hit and I got kinda-sick. The food did stay down though. No question any longer, the feeding tube is a necessity.

And since that last post, things have changed - for the better.

A friend brought me some Sherbet yesterday and while it had slight issues, I managed to keep it down. Last night I had teo "Digestive" cookies. This morning, I ate a full breakfast. Once I see how lunch goes, I will see how I want to proceed.

Gray, dull and cold here. At least I am indoors.
