Cats aren't evil, they can just be very playful. And with any type of pet you might get scratched. But every scratch is worth all the purring of a happy kitten.

I generally agree with you but I have known a couple of cats that were borderline.

borderline is a rather nice way of putting it. There are times that you discover no matter how you pet a kitten, it's just not a good match. Takes time and patience.

She does, but then her tail seems very angry....so I'm a bit confused. Also, she needs almost constant attention, which is so very different from the other cats I've had. Most are very aloof and independent.

I would say that exactly. I'm thinking others are actually talking kitties...

All princess needs affection and, if their tail is moving about when you're stroking her, it means their happy.

Mine moves when I'm happy, too!

Sometimes I think it's okay to say "Look, I'm needy right now! Which one of my Daddy friends is going to help me get through this?" Just to listen, comfort, advise. Am I the only one that turns to my Daddy friends at these times, when I don't have my own?
