Gin and tonic tonight. Tann's gin. Damn good stuff.:cool:

Have never acquired a taste for gin.
Kinda tastes like kerosene strained thru 3 week old underwear.
Not that I've ever had that but gin seems pretty close.
But who can count on my taste? I like fermented potatoes and cacti!

Try some Tann's Gin. Comes in a purple bottle. Makes a great G& T:D
 
Well, I had everything chopped and ready to sear the beef when I found out I didn't have a single burgundy in the wine cabinet. Who does, these days?

Needless to say the Cupcake Red Velvet, which is a red blend, didn't ALL end up in the beef ragout that's simmering on the stove right now.

And there's no way would I sacrifice the Smoking Loon Pinot Noir for cooking!
 
Sadly, I just finished my gin and I have no backup.
Not even a beer to carry me.
 
A good porter is best at room temp, maybe slightly cooler.
Rich and heavy.
