Collusion

I find this interesting: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...slike-hillary-clinton/?utm_term=.6b225d98d97c

Shortly before the election, both The Donald and Silly Hilly had very low approval ratings. Among registered voters, they were a virtual tie. Hers were higher overall, which is probably because she was more popular among non-citizens who would not have been able to vote legally. Makes me wonder what it was that enabled her to receive substantially more votes than her rival.

You really think that throngs of illegal aliens went down to the polling place, stood in line among their neighbors, marched up to an election official and commited a felony, just to get Hillary Clinton a job?

How many people constitute a throng?

I didn't say that. It may have been just a coincidence.

3-Is pictured with Obama Ambassador to Russia – 8 Days After Trump Jr. Mtg. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017...-trump-jr-mtg/

I see exactly what you see, and my reaction to HIS behavior is similarly negative.

But this is where our perspectives depart because, while YOU may not be talking about the law, I am, and, far more importantly I am talking about those others, on both sides of the aisle who PRETEND TO BE TALKING ABOUT THE LAW and, in fact, either don't know what they're talking about OR, far worse, know damn well that they are talking bullshit and know perfectly well WHY they are talking bullshit.

And, no, I don't believe that describes you.

While I agree it is important to make the distinction between legal and illegal, I also think that it is singular in dimension. The reality is that it's a pretty low bar when we judge the performance of our president, his associates, his appointees etc on whether their actions are merely legal. The reality that we are even forced to exam their actions so often for legality is telling enough. It's not like the email and Benghazi that was beat to death. We get something new a couple few times a week. Sometimes more. Overwhelming is an understatement.

But yes we do need to keep looking for the legal vs illegal. Even if it won't matter one iota as long as there is a republican led house and senate. Especially in this political climate. Facts do still matter - regardless of this current situation.

Like the Col., I too am less than enthused with Trump as an individual, a character if you will. I would prefer someone a little less Andrew Jackson/Harry Trumanesque. But the point remains that NOTHING illegal has transpired. It's a distraction.

As it turns out I support more of Trumps policies than I disagree with. And as long as he persues those policies I will support his efforts. On those policies that I don't support I will openly disagree with. Unlike others I'm not about to take issue with EVERYTHING he does for no other reason than the fact that I don't care for his demeanor. If you simply must get emotional and engage in personal attacks it's a sure indication that you have NOTHING to offer re. those things that really matter, ie. policy.

How many people constitute a throng?

Who in America will step forward and offer their vote up for cancellation by the illegal vote of an undocumented alien? Put another way, Which American goes to the polls expecting their vote to be canceled? Truth is, no American wants to be disenfranchised by people here illegally who are being bribed and enabled by Democrats trying to undermine the constitutional order of their country. People trapped in the "Shire" ought to pay attention to the problems associated with the confined spaces of their own political reality.

Like when you asked if I needed to get my hormones checked? Right? But that wasn't a personal attack now was it.

I'm glad to see you can at least admit he's a clown show with his antics.

Millions of Americans go to the polls expecting to vote in a certain way and positive their votes will be cancelled. Even during the primary season, I became aware that the candidates who might be offered by the two major parties would comprise the worst pair in history. That was what happened. I thought about voting for Trump and was disgusted. I thought about voting for Hillary and almost vomited. Eventually, I voted for Gary Johnson, first because I considered him to be the best candidate and, second because I was neither disgusted nor sick to my stomach at the thought of him. I knew my vote would be cancelled, because Silly Hilly was a shoo-in in CA, but I voted for Johnson anyhow. I suspect millions of persons did the same thing in CA and IL and NY, and millions more voted for Hillary in TX and some other states and knew their votes would be cancelled by Trump supporters.

I certainly can't stop you from thinking whatever you want but it isn't a personal attack, just an observation.

In virtually every topical thread in which we've crossed paths your arguments have been emotionally based, visceral if you will, and as such are hormonal. You have essentially admitted to same in two posts in this thread alone. You may want to consider that before you go getting your knickers all in a twist.

Ishmael

I think the argument is that since nothing came out of the meeting, there was no collusion. Something of value has to change hands, and there wasn't anything. There was only the attempt at collusion, and the glee of hoping to commit collusion. It's an American right, the pursuit of happiness, you know.

Aha!

The glee of hoping to commit collusion.

That's worth at least five years of hard labor in the joint.

Oh fuck off you piece of shit.

It was a personal attack. Fucks sake man. At least have the fucking testicles to stand by your words.

You're a drunken coward. <-- My personal observation.

Yes, an honest fear, to be canceled by the votes of other Americans, but it's another ball of wax to be canceled out by illegal voting of people who are in the country illegally.

Or ..... knowing a candidate's son colluded with a foreign adversary and then the president obstructed justice to protect him.

Stay with the facts people.

Of course not. Because any alien who would run the following risk by illegally entering this country and illegally working in this country would surely be smarter than to run the additional risk of illegally voting in this country.

8 USC § 1325 - Improper entry by alien

(a) Improper time or place; avoidance of examination or inspection; misrepresentation and concealment of facts

Any alien who (1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or (2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or (3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.

(b) Improper time or place; civil penaltiesAny alien who is apprehended while entering (or attempting to enter) the United States at a time or place other than as designated by immigration officers shall be subject to a civil penalty of—

(1) at least $50 and not more than $250 for each such entry (or attempted entry); or

(2) twice the amount specified in paragraph (1) in the case of an alien who has been previously subject to a civil penalty under this subsection.

Civil penalties under this subsection are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any criminal or other civil penalties that may be imposed.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

And yet, where's the evidence that there is widespread illegal aliens voting as has been asserted by Donald Dumbass?

There isn't any.

Did I say "widespread"? Current estimates of our illegal alien population seem to have settled on about 10 to 11 million people. While spread out across the country, there would seem to be higher concentrations in urban areas.

I'm not arguing that those who vote illegally do so in numbers sufficient to SWING a presidential election away from the desires of those citizens who vote legally. I'm simply arguing that whatever that number IS of those who might be tempted to vote illegally, it is abjectly silly, as Phrodeau suggested, that they are substantially discouraged from doing so on the basis of the act's illegality.
