After promising (again) to protect American jobs, the corrupt con artist shows once again he can't do squat. On Thursday, Boeing announced it would be laying off an additional 200 jobs at its South Carolina plant.
Similar to Carrier, where taxpayer money was handed out like candy to a private company to keep jobs around, but ultimately some of those "safe" jobs and others were sent to Mexico, the chaos in Washington continues to harm the country. GM announced 1,250 job losses, Humana 500, Zenefits 430, Fiat Chrysler 3,200 jobs, PaceHealth 500 jobs lost, CSX 1,000 jobs lost. And these were only some of the large job losses which took place one month after the coronation but before the con artist had his first day in office. Since then, job losses throughout the country have kept pace and even ticked up slightly in the most recent reporting period.
In February, before his first day on the job since he hadn't repealed and replaced Obamneycare on day one as he promised, the con artist appeared before Boeing workers and told them, "jobs is one of the primary reasons I'm standing here today as your President, and I will never, ever disappoint you."
After the announcement of jobs cuts, the look of disappointment on the face of workers was clearly evident.
