Since I have been in a monogamous relationship for the last 15 or so years, I cannot help you much since so much has changed with the advent of the internet.

However, I will say that it is human nature to want to classify people based on stereotypes. I'm a bear type and mistaken for a top as well, especially when Im at my local ABS. I will top sometimes but prefer to bottom. Sucking there or getting sucked is easy but getting fucked is usually harder depending on the crowd there.
