The world economy runs on oil. The USA has the biggest oil companies and the best technology in the world.

As for Russia, I'm still trying to figure out how that country impacted our election. Beyond the shrill "hacked" claims, I've read nothing that Putin's tech team did to get people to vote for Trump.
Besides, if Putin wanted to influence U.S. policy in his and Russia's favor, there were two easier options:
1. If he did hack Hillary's email, and her life is as sleazy and tawdry as most of us believe, blackmail would work.
2. He could donate to the Clinton Crime Family Foundation in exchange for favors.

I'm so interested in how Russia tampered with the "election". I didn't vote for either of these clowns that ran. But what did Russia do? They allegedly hacked some email accounts and published some tepid stuff that shows the democrats put some stupid shit in writing. Oh, and Hillary seems like a bitch. But it's not like it had any real revelations.

And, if anyone is so delusional to think that those stupid ass emails are the reason the factory workers in Wisconsin or Michigan voted for Trump, they are so out of touch it hurts.
