It does make a difference. We received one as a wedding gift, and it is so good.

The kids always scrap over the crispy, crunchy goodness.

Some pans - well seasoned cast iron pans, good Dutch ovens, a good steel hammered wok - can be like ingredients themselves. Sure you can substitute, but there is a difference.

So far they aren't killing me. They take 3 days to reach full even strength which is better than the ones that takes months to do so.

The brain is an amazing thing. Most of the times my dreams are just my brain doing its thing while I am drooling. Sometimes the brain gets down and takes care of business during sleepy time.

I am juggling multiple projects at work. Most of it is under control with a few details that have multiple solutions or no solutions at all. At 3am I wake up, wide awake. My tiny brain worked all night and came up with a seriously good answer to a complicated issue. Not just a solution, a kickass solution.

We got more snow than expected. I received an early morning text from my lovely neighbor about our cars being parked on the street. Texting folks too early should be banned.

She's great. It was the guy plowing that asked her to talk to us. The neighbor across the street has a large work truck he parks on our street. Between that and our cars the plow guy had a hard time maneuvering.
It's time for me to face the fact that winter is indeed here and just start parking in the back permanently.

We have snow emergencies like the next 36 hrs or so, and you can get towed if your car is on the wrong street or part of it.

No overnight parking bylaw here on most streets due to snowplow concerns. Not even in front of your own home. Usually only enforced during winter months. But occasionally a fanatical ticketer will get you during the summer.

First snow of the season in London. Got maybe 3-4 inches. Chance of freezing rain coming. That's the sucky part!
