I read your posts.

:).

I think lots of people do.

Post appeal might also be in the eye of the beholder. Hmm.
Is that the polite British way of saying "consider the source" when people talk about Lancey?
Ooh aah I does. I've always had a bit of a crush on Zumi.
Who doesn't?
I found an old online journal of mine. What a whore. Or rather, what a whore I wanted to be.

We're goon need to see those, and any pictures or drawings that go with 'em.

Just because...

Swedish fish are disgusting and taste of glue. Liquorice should be black. Salt allowed. Salmiak on occasion, for when I'm feeling brave.

I'll shake loose the dwarf today, promise
For a little guy he's got amazing strength!

Tinkersquash has it right .....coffee is called for! Then my 'morning' is complete and as perfect as can be :)
The postal service did not knock or ring my doorbell when they came with my groceries. I finally got tired of waiting for my coffee and went to have a look - and there they were. They are supposed to at least knock or ring the doorbell to let me know they've been here! I would have been grumpier but I was too excited to find out what goodies were in this delivery's gift bag. They included a cookbook this round, with a focus on seafood. <3

I could demolish a lobster right now.

Silvergurl: I can't fly home again for a few years I don't think. When last home I got to introduce one of my best friends to lobster. They are not easy to come by over here (she's Danish). My father made her sit in the back seat with them on the drive home and noticed she was squeamish/nervous. He was absolutely horrible to her! He kept saying "Don't make any sudden moves" and "Don't act scared. They can sense fear." She mentioned it looked like they had whiskers and he just nodded and said "Yep. Those are for detecting fear. You're not scared are you? You should probably be okay. I'll drive a little faster just in case..."

I hope your ears heal quickly. Earaches are in a pain class of their own. :rose:

What are you planning? Holding up a post office all liquored up?

And it's Jaeger, Jamesons and Labatts.

That is not an Irish Car Bomb.

That does not even sound like a decent cocktail. That sounds like the start of an evening that ends with waking up in your neighbours driveway, cradling their garden gnome and wondering where your keys, cellphone, and pants went.

:(

This.
Just got diagnosed with double ear infections, got gifted a Z pack and prednisone.
My stomach is upset but I sent the husband for some Asian food. Something to pick at anyway.
This has not been a good week.

ugh, that sounds like a miserable combination. :(

hope it clears up soon

Did not realize it was a form of drink! Not a fan of Bailey's or stouts and bitters. Now a plain old fashioned boiler maker with CC and draft I can go for.

I'll mix drinking Jaeger and beer but am far to responsible, and a lousy drinker, to hazard Jaeger and whisky in the same night. I would consider myself lucky to get so close to home as the neighbours yard.

No one was hating on black licorice. I was giving Luk a hard time for liking Swedish fish. He's taking it very well.

Ha! I was just comparing that most people hate the black licorice or jelly beans, including my daughter.
I do like a gummy bears though. Any flavour will do. :D

dude you're not killing anyone, it's not worth worrying about. an old woman could get sick from anything, anywhere.

Polly Sweet, today bitters was the one who told me that there is bird flu again here and all my birds have to stay in for thirty days. They had been out a while already and I have notified authorities.

In the days I had a 'proper' sized flock I would get an email with this alert, this year, with just a few birds I get nothing. ( I think it's also backyard keepers less likely to spot health problems but....)

If my birds do get flu Through wild contact I won't curse the bird who carried it, it's how things go. It will be very. Very sad, but no less do for the wild birds.

Poor health is part of the scheme of things, and this cannot change. Death too finds us; a flu you carry being passed on is not your fault, presuming you have good hygiene and follow any protocols your work environment has; its life. Get well yourself.

I know it wouldn't be my fault and everything, but it's kind of disturbing to think about. And I can't get it out of mind.
