I think that terminology started with Eyer.

One thing that hasn't changed here is that you can a lot about a poster by who they choose as their role model(s).

I don't know Eyer.

I was just wondering about its origination. When I read the terminology, I picture the "blurt bitches" as the Rizzo and the Pink Ladies from Grease.

Some fucking bleeding heart reading from a print out in a pious manner. Apparently we are to offer them a footstool. Told her to bollocks. Nothing against it in public, but as usual things are taken too far. And apparently it's legal to breastfeed a child in public up to the age of 16! I said I'm sorry but if I witnessed that at work I'd consider it a safeguarding issue. Also her stats seemed off to me, said 64% of women stopped breastfeeding early due to public attitude. Told her that didn't seem realistic.

We didn't gel at all. :D

and I thought a woman breastfeeding her child to age 5 or 6 was stretching it!

On a more serios note, since you asked:

I have an unpleasant history of having been ganged upon (directly or more subtly, by endorsing my trolls) by 4 or so female posters who post regularly in this thread.

And since I'm a bitch too -the kind that holds grudges- I often use this term in order to get on their nerves.

Have you missed me, my little butterbean?

Come here and kiss me. For you I'd consider beastfeeding.:heart::heart:

Loved breastfeeding. My big, swollen, milky breasts looked and felt so sexy.

Last time I mentioned this, people got all weird about it...but women who have had children can be trained to start lactating again at any time with the right training.
